AQUEDUCT: Saturday 4/4 Plays R12

** Pete's Pick **

We have 12 races with the Wood Memorial as the headliner. I will be condensing my plays down to just the number and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 7-9). Big Pete will attack two "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 10-12); GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $ 10.00 Early Double:

R1: 3, 6

R2: 2 Cost: $ 20.00

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R7: 3, 8, 11

R8: 5, 8, 9

R9: 2, 4, 8 Cost: $ 27.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R10: 7, 8

R11: 1, 3, 4, 5

R12: 1, 2, 3, 8, 13 Cost: $ 40.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

There are several contenders and they all have some speed. I want to use that against them and look for a stalker/closer to come and get them late. (2) OMAHA OMAHA is going to need the front runners to go at it but I think he gets his wish. He finished right behind Stowaway last time and picks up Jamie for this. The slight cutback helps and I can't resist the 10:1 ML.

$ 7.00 WPS 2 Cost: $ 21.00

$ 7.00 Ex 2 w/ 1, 6 Cost: $ 14.00

We'll use (2) Omaha Omaha in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

(3) Fort Nelson or (7) Founders in the 4th.

$ 7.00 Daily Double 2 w/ 3, 7 Cost $ 14.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 5:

(7) EARLY ON is a different animal when L1 is added. Two blowout races when on medication and gets help with all the scratches.

$ 20.00 Exacta 7 w/ 4 Cost: $ 20.00

$ 20.00 Double 7 w/ 2 Cost: $ 20.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 10:

(7) IMMERSIVE makes her 2026 debut sporting some fast morning works. Cox has her ready to go again as she has been no worse than 2nd in all seven career starts. She was helped with some scratches but stills needs her A game here. I'll lean heavy on her but include a savor (8) GRAMMY GIRL. She's been away for a little bit but ended 2025 on a roll. If she can pick up where she left off, she'll be tough too.

$ 7.00 WPS 7 Cost $ 21.00

$ 7.00 Ex Box 7, 8 Cost $ 14.00

Race 11:

(3) NYCON, (4) TWO BITS and (5) BAFFLE all will come running late. Each are in good form and want to go this 9F distance. But the Gun Runner (1) PARADISE comes in loaded from this Cox barn. Manny returns after a dominate Busher and draws inside to save some ground. All systems go today.

$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 21.00

$ 7.00 Ex 1 w/ 2, 3, 4 Cost $ 21.00

Race 12:

The Wood looks wide open to me. (13) IRON HONOR could be the one to beat but the outside post didn't do him any favors. I'll try to beat him. (3) RIGHT TO PARTY wants more ground and gets it today. He will save more ground than Iron which will close the gap between them. (8) COURTING is the sleeper. He's been a dud so far but Pletcher is still high on him. The two turns will help. He picks up Carmouche and is a plodder that can keep moving forward. (2) TALK TO ME JIMMY has the speed to control so if they forget about him, he'll be tough. I'm looking for (1) NAPOLEON SOLO to bounce back here. They get a cozy spot on the rail and picks up Paco who will make a hole between runners if one doesn't open up. It's interesting that Carmouche chooses Courting over this one.

$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 1, 8 w/ 1, 3, 8, 13 Cost $ 18.00
