Ten races this afternoon at the Big A with possible rain moving in. Watch for surface changes throughout the day. I will be condensing my plays down to just the number and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 5-7). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 8-10). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 3:
There are a few in here that want the lead so the race sets up nicely for stalkers and closers. That's how I'll play it and focus on (1) SALMING who grabs the rail. Handal claimed him in January and has been getting him ready for a big effort. Two races at slightly higher levels and steady morning works should have him primed for the third times the charm theory. It also helps that Sequential returned from that Apr 23rd race to jog next time out. This Bernardini seems to be sitting on one as they drop him slightly in here.
I’ll use (2) Daytona Moonshine and (7) Red Miller to complete the exacta.
$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 21.00
$ 7.00 Ex 1 w/ 2, 7 Cost $ 14.00
We’ll also use (1) Salming in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.
(2) Fairy Godmother, (9) Raynham Hall and (12) Five Dozen Roses (if she draws in) in the 4th.
$ 7.00 Daily Double 1 w/ 2, 9 Cost $ 14.00
$ 10.00 Daily Double 1 w/ 12 Cost $ 10.00 ( AE )
$ 10.00 Daily Double 1 w/ 16 Cost $ 10.00 ( Dirt )
Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 8:
With rain expected, I'm going to lean on the two that run better in the mud. (5) WITTINGTON PARK has quietly put together a nice career collecting checks. He hits the board over 50% of the time and doesn't mind mud in his face. I'll lean a little more on the Street Sense gelding (6) KINETIC, to like an off track. He was on it once, but that was against some good ones. He finds the right bunch today, and the elements will help him. The logical two that I'll include are (2) LE GRIS and (7) CLASSICIST. If they run their race, regardless of the track condition, either could win it.
$ 7.00 WPS 6 Cost $ 21.00
$ 3.00 Ex 5, 6 w/ 2, 5, 6, 7 Cost $ 18.00
Race 9:
(5) MIDDLE MARKET has speed to control and may not have too much company early on. If they leave him alone, he won't give it up that easily. (6) CAIRO KID has faced some decent runners and has also found the right field. Casse is having a meet as they ship this grey in with some speed figures that make him a player. (7) MADAGASCAR is the one I like on either surface. His lone turf try was good enough and the barn is heating up. If we end up on the dirt, (14) SWISS ARMY KNIFE looks strong.
$ 7.00 WPS 7 Cost $ 21.00
$ 3.00 Ex Box 5, 6, 7 Cost $ 18.00
$ 3.00 Ex Box 7, 13, 14 Cost $ 18.00 ( Dirt )
Race 10:
(1) CYCLONITE and (4) MASSETO come in for Casse, and both have stalking styles that make them dangerous through the lane. Whichever one works out the best trip gets bragging rights in the barn. (3) CUANDO has speed and will try to steal it. The wise guy is (10) SOONTOBEKING, who will be long odds and worth his value as he switched to turf last time and almost pulled it off.
$ 7.00 WPS 10 Cost $ 21.00
$ 3.00 Ex 1, 10 w/ 1, 3, 4, 10 Cost $ 18.00
Fill in (12) Oil Capital if we switch to dirt
