The run for the Roses on this first Saturday in May. We will plan on attacking a pair of pick 3's into the Kentucky Derby and offer are picks in the Derby. We each will bring our own opinion to the first race of the triple crown but the focus will be the same; cashing tickets. We very much appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3 into Kentucky Derby:

R10: 1, 6, 7

R11: 3, 6, 7, 10

R12: 1, 4, 12, 19 Cost: $ 48.00

Little Pete's Derby Pick:

( 1 ) Renegade

This Into Mischief colt has elevated his game in both 2026 starts and deserves to be one of the favorites. Both preps he was pulling away late and with Curlin underneath, the 10F is well within himself. The post is not ideal but, Irad is the best in the business and will figure it out.

$ 10.00 WPS 1 Cost: $ 30.00

$ 3.00 Ex 1 w/ 6, 8, 12, 15, 18 Cost: $ 15.00

Big Pete's Derby Pick:

( 6 ) Commandment

Pletcher and (1) Renegade figure to be a handful but the post didn't do him any favors. He can still win from there becuase irad is riding the best i've ever seem him. I like (6) COMMANDMENT in here. The 10F is right up his ally with the Ord influence underneath. He figures to grind and run all day. Cox was able to snatch Saez as both Prat and Irad committed elsewhere. Finishing right behind him was (12) Chief Wallbee. Both put on a show in the Florida Derby and both should go at it again. The right trip should decide it. (19) Golden Tempo was a late threat to (15) Emerging Market. Both are bred to get this far.

$ 10.00 WPS 6 Cost: $ 30.00

$ 3.00 Ex 1, 6 w/ 1, 6, 12, 15, 19 Cost: $ 24.00
