We have 11 races on this Saturday with no stakes action. We have races on all three surfaces today as a few came off the turf and moved to the Tapeta. I will be condensing my plays down to just the number and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 6-8). Big Pete will attack two "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 9-11); GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $ 5.00 Early Double:

R1: 6

R2: 1, 4 Cost: $ 10.00

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R6: 1, 5, 7

R7: 1, 4, 6, 7

R8: 3, 4, 9 Cost: $ 36.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R9: 1, 6

R10: 1, 3, 4, 7

R11: 4, 5, 10 Cost: $ 24.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 4:

(8) PLANET CLARE is a new Mare this year. She came back in April after taking off the winter and has 3 wins and a 2nd in 4 starts. Her 2nd was probably too far for her so they cut back to her winning distance today. She looks very live to me on either surface, synthetic or turf.

$ 7.00 WPS 8 Cost: $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 1, 6, 8 Cost: $ 18.00

We'll use (8) Planet Clare R4 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

(4) Bite and Strike or (8) Global Prosperity in the 5th.

$ 7.00 Daily Double 8 w/ 4, 8 Cost $ 14.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 6:

(5) WILL NOT BE SWAYED is two for two at this 6.5F distance. They have been going long in recent races but, the cut back here is what she wants to do. The drop in class will also help as the last time she dipped this low she jogged.

$ 7.00 WPS 5 Cost: $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 1, 5, 7 Cost: $ 18.00

We'll use (5) Will Not Be Swayed in R6 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

(1) Carc Brothers or (7) Interceptor in the 7th.

$ 7.00 Daily Double 5 w/ 1, 7 Cost $ 14.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 9:

(1) GEORGIA MAGIC looks strong in this spot. With the outside speed scratching, he figures to have an easy go of it up front. The others stalk or come from the back, and several of these are moving up slightly. I wouldn't talk you off a single, but I feel as though you need a saver. Mine is (2) BARB. She's been sprinting recently, and her 3rd barn this year finally stretches her out. I like the switch to Fresu for this stalker who can lay right behind Georgia and try to pick her up late.

$ 7.00 WPS 2 Cost $ 21.00

$ 5.00 Ex 1, 2 w/ 1, 2, 6 Cost $ 20.00

Race 10:

(3) PAROS and (7) UNIT ECONOMICS both have some speed to either go or press early. If one can shake loose, they get the advantage. I prefer two that will show up late. (1) HIGHLANDS WAY has the nice win last time but moves up. He wasn't flattered with Risk Tolerance's performance the other day. Manny makes a difference though and makes this guy a must use. I prefer the other closer (4) HAMMERHEAD. This War Front gelding switched barns last time and responded well. If he runs that race again, he wins it.

$ 7.00 WPS 4 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 1, 4 w/ 1, 3, 4, 7 Cost $ 18.00

Race 11:

(4) SECURED LANDING and (10) SHOOT THE NICKEL both stay in for Rice. She typically doesn't do that, so both will work with each other to win it. Carmouche is on the speed, so they will hustle away and try to win it up front. If he avoids pressure, they will be tough. If others join in, Jose can pick up the pieces late, letting his stablemate do all the dirty work. I'll use both, but I want to take a shot with (5) PRINCIP in here. He rewarded his new barn with a 2nd place finish first time out. He was gaining on the Nickel when they met and now has had more time to improve.

$ 7.00 WPS 5 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 4, 5, 10 Cost $ 18.00
