We have eight scheduled on this Fast and Firm Aqueduct track. I will be condensing my plays down to just the numbers and attacking the early double. (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 3-5). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 6-8). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $ 5.00 Early Double:

R1: 1, 6

R2: 1 Cost: $ 10.00

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R3: 2, 5, 6

R4: 3, 6, 7

R5: 2, 4, 7 Cost: $ 27.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R6: 1, 6, 9

R7: 3, 4, 8

R8: 2, 4, 6, 8 Cost: $ 36.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

(5) I AM I SAID finally returns to the races as Clement takes over for the GB-bred gelding. Breeding suggests the 11F won't be an issue and L1 is added. Steady works in the AM indicate this guy is ready to restart his career.

I’ll use (2) Bettrluckythangood and (6) Mutaawid underneath for the exacta.

$ 7.00 WPS 5 Cost $ 21.00

$ 7.00 Ex 5 w/ 2, 6 Cost $ 14.00

We’ll also use (5) I Am I Said in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

(6) Helen's Revenge and (7) Tough Street in the 4th.

$ 7.00 Daily Double 5 w/ 6, 7 Cost $ 14.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 6:

Franco and Clement team up twice on this card, and I like them in both. (6) LOVEONTHELEFTBANK ships north for this with some decent speed figures. The only issue may be the pace. She needs the front runners to back up some, but this race lacks speed. (1) TIZ THE LADY will likely try to go early from the hedge like she did two back. Her chances may come at the break, as she has trouble getting away from the gate. I'll try the outside runner, (9) LAYLANI LOU and Johnny V. He will take this filly right out to the front and try to control the race. If he can find the hedge going into the first turn, they shouldn't catch him.

$ 7.00 WPS 9 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 1, 6, 9 Cost $ 18.00

Race 7:

(3) TEN CENT TOWN is on a decent run. Now Cox takes over after they claimed him last time out. He's likely to improve, so he's a major player. (8) LOTSA TROUBLE has worked himself back to decent form and will like this cut back to 6.5F. They can stalk from out there and make a run. His new stablemate, (4) CLANCY FANCY is where I landed. He was claimed two back and improved his next time out for his new handlers. He was gaining on Ten Cent Town last time and is likely to improve a little more.

$ 7.00 WPS 4 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 3, 4, 8 Cost $ 18.00

Race 8:

We'll spread out in the finale. Both (2) JET OFF and (4) CHIPS AND FISH may be part of the speed. Either can take them a long way. I'll focus more on two closers coming late. (8) RULES OF THE ROAD has had trouble getting away from the gate. That leaves him with too much to do. One of these days he'll break cleanly and be a lot closer to the pack to make a serious run. I like the shipper (6) BOLD STATEMENT making his NY debut. He lost it at the break last time and Jose gets a shot with him today. If he gets him into the race early, they should be closing in through the lane.

$ 7.00 WPS 6 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 6, 8 w/ 2, 4, 6, 8 Cost $ 18.00
