We have an elite eight scheduled for this March Madness at the Big A. I will be condensing my plays down to just the numbers and attacking the early double. (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 3-5). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 6-8). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 3:
(6) TARPAULIN has switched barns and Rice continues to win with this move. His speed figures from the Fall dominate this group so if she can find those old races, this guy will be tough. Several works in the AM so the horse appears to be sound.
I’ll use (2) Airborne Elite and (4) Derek's Law underneath for the exacta.

We’ll also use (6) Tarpaulin in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 6:
(5) FIREBALLIN will go and never look back. If they forget about him up front, he'll be tough to reel in. (1) UNBROKEN CHAIN has speed figures to match these. Prat taking the call makes him a contender. I'll look for (3) DON LUIS to bide his time and wait for Jamie's cue. Something was off last time so we'll draw a line through that one. Prior to that, he was working well and running decent speed figures. I'm looking for him to bounce back strong today.

Race 7:
(6) PINKY BRIER drops slightly and gets Prat back. This NY Bred was on a roll until she ran into Galinda. Prat had choice between three fillies in here and satys with Pinky. She look tough. (7) TENACIOUS CHILD has the speed and dominated maidens last time. Manny takes over and he's been on a roll recently. (1) OHOOPEE has the rail and will try to find a seem late.

Race 8:
This one goes through (1) HOURS IN A DAY. He drops to the bottom and cuts back to one turn. Jose will set up shop just in behind the leaders and come running late. (2) BREW PUD is the only one that looks to give the favorite a run. He drops back down to this level and picks up Manny. These two should deceide it. I'll throw in a sleeper incase this two hook up too early and tire each other out. The only closer I want is (6) KNOX. He switches barns and he runs the race speed figure each time out. If the other two take the afternoon off, he can be the danger late.
