Nine races on this Saturday at the Big A. I will be condensing my plays down to just the numbers and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 4-6). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 7-9). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R7: 6, 9, 10

R8: 3, 7, 10

R9: 2, 3, 5, 6 Cost: $ 36.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

Spirit Dragon was helped with several scratches but I want (4) CARVELLIAN QUEST here as he drops slightly and has speed. This barn claimed him in January and jumped him up against tougher. This class relief should make the difference.

I’ll use (1) Scoot Daddy and (7) Spririt Dragon underneath for the exacta.

We’ll also use (4) Carveliian Quest in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

Several speed signed on so I'll focus on the closers/stalkers to come and get it. (6) FORGIVING SPIRIT will get the first jump. He will sit right behind and make his move around the turn. The two closers are (10) SHOOT THE NICKEL and (9) MASTER OF ARMS. Both will try to time it right. Franco has been doing that all year so he's a must use. I want the Master in this spot. he was claimed two back and ran ok next out for the new barn. He continues to work well i the morning so this 7yr old looks live to me 2nd time out for De PAz.

Race 8:

(10) MARGIE'S FUN SON ships in after back to back wins with hish speed figures. This Keen Ice should handle the extra distance and they bring his regular rider in. Seems live. (7) ADVENTURIST is liking the two turns so an extra one should make a difference. This Curlin can probably run all day. (3) BOB JOHN RAY is switching to a new barn but Manny stays up. He may try to control the tempo and make that his advantage. Wire to wire is what Franco is thinking.

Race 9:

(3) PINK ROSE is one of two I like to take down this finale. The slight cutback will help continues to blitz in the morning workouts. Both (5) GOLDEN EIB MICRPHN and (6) MURSAL have speed to wire but I feel they will help set up a closer. Unless one can shake loose. I want a price so I landed on (2) LIKA ROLLING STONE. She gets a little class relief and cuts back too. She may be a little closer to the front this time with the switch to Jamie. She should be come home fast late in the game.
