Nine races on this Wednesday as we roll on to the 2nd half of the meet. We will skip the 1st race jumpers and start the day with R2. I will be condensing my plays down to just the numbers and attacking the early double (Races 2 & 3) and a spot pick 3 (Races 4-6). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 7-9). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

(3) ILENAS KAZ WAY is one of several coming out of the same race, and this one got the worst of it at the break. She followed that up with a big bullet work and seems very live to me. It wouldn't surprise me if she breaks on top and tries to take them all the way. With not much speed signed on, she can pull it off up front.

I’ll use (9) Solaia and (7) Lots Of Kisses underneath for the exacta.

We’ll also use (3) Ilenas Kaz Way in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

(4) IN THE QUEUE seems appropriate with Fantasy football gearing up soon and the fact that Saez takes over on this filly who showed speed last time. They might not catch her today. (2) BABY BETH, (5) SHE'S FAST MONEY, and (11) CYBER BABY are first-timers from barns that are doing well this meet. One of them should be fast with all the bullets they are putting together.

Race 8:

(2) HIDDEN ROSE draws inside and has speed. That gives this filly the advantage on this two-turn, one lap around the Spa oval. She saves ground and can control the tempo. Sitting right behind her will be Jr and (1) ANSWERED PRAYERS. This will look similar to her maiden score when Jr waited and made one run to win easily. I like their chances again here. Jose will try to pass them all with (7) SARAPHA. She might get caught wide with the post position draw, but this Gun Runner meets up with Jose for the first time, and the extra distance should only help.

Race 9:

(5) GUM and (9) MISTBORN should take most of the action as these two have proven they can run well vs better. They both drop and have the highest speed figures. Both are must-use for me. The two wise guy picks for me are (8) GRACE OF MONACO and (10) CHANNELVIEW. Grace moves to a different barn and stretches out. She seems to like the turf and was threatening before trouble through the lane. This grey will like the added ground and the addition of Saez. Channelview also stretches out and Manny is riding well still. Both are a price to consider.
