2yr old fillies take center stage on this Saturday at th Spa. I will be condensing my plays down to just the number and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 6-8). Big Pete will attack two "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 9-11); GOOD LUCK.

With speed prominent, I'll look for a stalker/closer to come late. (8) ANTONIO OF VENICE fits that to a T. I'm not sure what happened out in Finger Lakes, but I'm drawing a line through that one. Medication is added back for today, so maybe the breathing was affected. Rudy brings back Silvera today as they hooked up three back, and it was his best race on paper on a fast track in a while. He gets a nice setup to run them down.

(1) WYNSTOCK looks to be in great form right now. He looked anxious in the Stakes race two back where he finished behind Dr. Kraft, who returned to run big next out. Then he put it all together last time and got claimed. Now he goes out for Sharp first time loaded for bear.

Race 10:
(3) COURTING looms large, exiting a few G2's and adding L1. Pletcher has been high on this Curlin and now reaches out to Prat to get it done. This looks like his coming-out party for bigger things down the road. The same could be said about (9) UNIVERSE. McPeek has been searching for his 2-year-old races when he faced some big boys. Several bullets in his work tab, so I think he's back. The two sleepers are (2) PAPA JOY and (4) LION OF JUSTICE. Both have a race that collects a check against this group.

Race 11:
(2) SUMMER STARLET and (8) LIFE CHANGING will be the focus here. I can't see the others beating both of these sharp maiden winners. They don't need to improve to win today, so I'll focus on both getting us through the sequence. The wise guy that I'll include is (4) STRESS RELIEF. She's two for two and hasn't been asked yet. If the top two take the afternoon off, she will at least show up and make them earn it.

Race 12:
This one is wide open. I'm trying to wire them with (11) LOTUS PETAL. The race lacks speed, so if this Jose can get comfortable up front, they just might not catch her. (7) GRISALDA has been a struggle for Brown to date. They drop her for an easier spot, but the good thing is that Manny stays. That's a good sign. (2) HIDDEN PRESENCE is sitting on one. If the other two have a hiccup, this mare can keep coming and make it interesting late.
