Another hot and humid start ot the week but relief is on the way. We'll skip the first and start with race 2. I will be condensing my plays down to just the number and attacking the early double starting in R2 (Races 2 & 3) and a spot pick 3 (Races 4-6). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 7-9). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

R5: 1, 2

R6: 1, 4, 7 Cost: $ 12.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R7: 2, 5, 7

R8: 2, 5, 7, 8

Race 4:

(6) CORRUPTION just looks better than these. Controling speed with Jose on the engine and Casse is clicking on all cylinders so far. I'll concede to this favorite and look for (3) Bourbon Day to come late for the cold exacta.

We’ll also use (6) Corruption in R4 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

(2) Noguchi or (1) Career Risk in the 5th.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

(2) SALTED CARAMEL is the interesting one with Prat taking the mount. They ship in and stretch him out, but with Kitten's Joy in his corner, the distance shouldn't be an issue. I doubt we get 8:1 ML here. I landed on the Pletcher runner, (7) WAR OFFICER. Saez takes over, and the instructions will be to keep this guy close and spurt away turning for home. If they clear off, they'll be tough to catch through the lane. (5) PADDOCK PASTOR usually comes late. If he can handle the distance, he'll be a threat close to home.

Race 8:

(7) CUPID'S HEART and (8) STERLING SILVER are two from Cupid with some fast races. I prefer Silver as she cuts back to 7F. She has a win on this dirt track, dominating some good NY Breds. (5) MY MANE SQUEEZE is back in against NY Breds as she's been fighting open company for a while. She figures to be a handful today. The wise guy is (2) DOLOMITE who has never run a bad race. He seems to be improving every time out this year, so he's worth this 5:1 ML price.

Race 9:

(2) KYLA'S KAUSE is the logical one on the drop and adds L1 today. A must-use, but she's been away since October, so we have to try and beat her. I'll forgive the wide run from (7) MISS UPROAR and look for this one to bounce back to her race two back. (8) GOOD MISSION tried turf and liked it, but I can't let Irad go unnoticed on Rudy's runner, (5) FIFI LA FUME in here. They put her on the grass and then cut her back. That looks to be her thing, so the addition of Ortiz makes this filly live IMO.
