We are back to racing at the SPA and we will be looking to improve the bankroll headed into the busy weekend. I will be condensing my plays to only include the number, and look to take down the early double (Races 2 & 3) and a spot pick 3 (Races 5-7). Big Pete will be locked in to taking down a couple of his "Plays of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 8-10). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 4:
Not only does Bella Sofia have to deal with Frank’s Rockette, who was a close 2nd last time, she also has to deal with the speed of Amadevil. To me, the Honorable Miss sets up perfectly for (4) KIMARI. Rosario will likely let the other three go at it and come with there run late. She doesn’t want 7F so the cut back to 6F bodes well as well. Ward has given her some time off and let her train up to this. Maybe we get 4:1 but even 2:1 feels like a gift.
(2) Bella Sofia and (3) Amadevil look solid underneath.
$ 7.00 WPS 4 Cost $ 21.00
$ 7.00 Exacta 4 w/ 2, 3 Cost $ 14.00
We’ll also use (4) Kimari in R3 and try to crash in on a DAILY DOUBLE play.
We’ll use (1) Neotropic and (6) Mooney Love in the 4th.
$ 7.00 Double 4 w/ 1, 6 Cost $ 14.00
Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 8:
It must be Wednesday at the Saratoga as we scrape the bottom of the barrel with a 16k NW2L sprint. I’m ok with that as everyone should enjoy a Spa treatment every year. (8) O’GOTTEN GIRL will grab all the attention as Pletcher and Saez team up. But WHY the sudden drop here. I would only use defensively here as this is not a good sign that they are offering her away in this fire sale. (7) ANOTHERWORLDINSIDE is an interesting possibility. She probably hasn’t had talent on her back that she will have today. That can move a horse up a few lengths. She has respectable speed figures out of town and now takes her shot on the big stage. She posted a nice bullet work for this at her home track before they hit the road. (5) PREPOSTEROUS also drops and cuts back to sprinting. Her maiden win is plenty against this group. Her best chance is to let the outside runners go and stalk early and then try to reel them in late.
$ 7.00 WPS 5 Cost $ 21.00
$ 3.00 Ex 5, 7 w/ 5, 7, 8, 9 Cost $ 18.00
Race 9:
I don’t have a high opinion of (1) HIGH OPINION as she burns a lot of money. She hits the board most of the time so we’ll include defensively. I like the switch back to Saez for (4) AMALFI PRINCESS. She’s been sprinting for most of her career but this Temple City, to me, seems made for 1M. She beat Bye Bye two back and couldn’t catch a game She can’t Sing who ran a lights out last time. The Princess becomes the Queen today. (5) MESSIDOR has been sharp all year long. The 1M isn’t a problem for me it’s the two turns. She is a must use but I like the Princess more.
$ 7.00 WPS 4 Cost $ 21.00
$ 3.00 Ex 4, 5 w/ 1, 4, 5, 6 Cost $ 18.00
Race 10:
(2) ADAM’S ANGEL has speed and sports the highest speed figure. That was last year but he is working well for his return and attracts Saez. (8) DOVER DREAMS will get L1 today as she comes back after a long rest. She does have a decent 3rd on this track and a 2nd place finish to a girl named NEST. I can’t see this gal staying at the 12:1 ML but if she does, I’m all in. (4) COURSE RUNNER looks dangerous to me. Rusty ships in with a well meant 4th place finish posting a high speed figure for a first time starter. They followed that up with a bullet work so I’m expecting she’s still on her toes. (11) AQUILA MOON is also interesting as Jr is hitting the board better than 50% since shipping in from Florida. Stewart adds L1 to this filly as she comes off the shelf with some strong breezes in the AM.
