We have a 10 race card on the beginning of the week # 2 at Saratoga and we are looking to cash in to start the week off strong. I will be condensing my plays to take down the early double (Races 2-3) and a middle pick 3 (Races 5-7) . Big Pete will have his full breakdown on his "Play of the Days" and the late pick 3 (Races 8-10). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 3:
With (8) Gracefully Wild scratching out, I prefer the filly that finished right behind her. (1) CHIARA also made the switch to turf two back and has improved in both. The big difference today is the addition of Saez. She figures to save some ground breaking from stall 3 and will benefit from some speed up front
(5) Aunt Virginia is the class of the bunch and (7) Izeamalibumoon is the horse to beat. .

We’ll also use (1) Chiara in R4 and try to crash in on a DAILY DOUBLE play.
We’ll use likely favorite (1) Out Of Sight and the Clement/Rosario combo with (4) Home For Christmas in the 4th.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 4:
A small field and a few strong favorites in this 1M turf AOC. (1) OUT OF SIGHT has taken a while to break her maiden but it looks as if she’s figuring out this game with four strong 2022 starts. Coincidently, they all came with Jose up. More of the same for me as they figure to save ground and stay close up front. Not a lot of value IMO, so we’ll go for the cold exactas in this one.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 8:
(2) SMASH TICKET comes in after beating up on NW2L so she wasn’t beating much. She did do it rather easy though. We’ll use but I must bet against. The entry gives us a two for one deal. (1) SHORT SUMMER BOSS has been winning every other race so today fits the sequence. (1) PIECE OF MY HEART takes a small drop and sports back to back races that stack up well against this group. (4) SECRET LOVE is one of two NY Breds that I like in here. She faced better in her last two and retains Johnny V. She’ll get first jump on (6) BETSY BLUE and will try to hold her off late. If Betsy finds her Feb and March form, she will pass them all.

Race 9:
(5) SHE’S A MIA gets yet a different rider and stretches back out. He seems to like 2nd more but that’s probably why Rosario was brought in. She should get a decent set up with multiple speeds signed on. (3) LISA’S VISION also goes long after breaking her maiden. It’s not easy first time against winners but she won her last one very easy and there seems to be more in the tank.

Race 10:
(3) SUPER QUALITY shipped in last time and almost got there. They will attract more attention today as he sports some fast bullets recently. (4) RUGGED UNION came out firing when he dropped to this level last time. If he can shake loose again the 5.5F will work in his favor. Unfortunately there are other speeds signed on. (6) BLINDING LIGHT drops and tries turf. Weaver does well up here and may have found the right group
