Fast and firm once again for this Thursday action from the Spa. I will be condensing my plays down to just the number and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 6-8). Big Pete will attack two "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 9-11); GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $ 5.00 Early Double:

R1: 7, 9

R2: 5, 6 Cost: $ 20.00

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R6: 6, 8

R7: 3, 4, 5, 8

R8: 1, 7, 11, 13 Cost: $ 32.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R9: 6, 7, 9

R10: 1, 3, 4

R11: 1, 2, 3, 8 Cost: $ 36.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

Asmussen has picked it up recently hitting the board 56% of the time. He sends out (2) SHATTUCK who finally cuts back to 7F. This one turn seems perfect with the amount of speed signed on. The price shoud be right as Rice and Brown will grab some attention.

$ 7.00 WPS 2 Cost: $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 1, 4, 7 Cost: $ 18.00

We'll use (2) Shattuck in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

(5) Kathynmarissa or (7) Immensitude in the 4th.

$ 7.00 Daily Double 2 w/ 5, 7 Cost $ 14.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 9:

(9) TWENTY FOUR MAMBA has resurrected his career this year as a few of his speed figures top this group. I'll include but try to beat as I didn't like his last, even though he faced slightly better. (7) TREATY OBLIGATION has crossed the finish line first in both of his Saratoga races. A horse-for-the-course possibility as he goes out first time for Rudy. I'll take a shot with the Tapit Gray, (6) WINIT. He too goes out for new connections today after he was claimed last time as the favorite. He stumbled out of the gate and almost made up that ground to only get beat by a length. I like the outside draw and the switch to Davis.

$ 7.00 WPS 6 Cost: $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 6, 9 w/ 1, 6, 7, 9 Cost: $ 18.00

Race 10:

(4) COMPETITIVE THREAT is just that. He collects checks but is only 1 for 7 in the win column. His speed figures top this group, so he's a must-use, but we will try to beat him. Cox claimed (1) CYNANE two back, and she ran her best speed figure next time out, staying at the 6F distance. I like the post and the 1M stretch out for this Omaha Beach as they figure to save ground and set up shop right behind Life Advice. Manny just needs to find a seam and sprint home. (3) AVISO came fast when they finally got back on the turf. Carmouche takes over, and McPeek is peaking right now.

$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost: $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 1, 3, 4 Cost: $ 18.00

Race 11:

(8) BILLY WHITE SHOES is bred to go longer, but Ward trains them to go fast. His 47 breeze on the 15th jumps off the page, and he gets an aggressive rider. Catch me if you can. (2) REPURPOSE is a firster from Brown. That's enough for me to include on the grass. (1) IN THE TANK is from Baker, who is enjoying his best meet yet. Ships in with some good works. (3) SOD SIREN is where I landed as Prat takes over after a slow start and fast finish in her debut. Seems pointed to this race as they brought her up early to get a couple of works in.

$ 7.00 WPS 3 Cost: $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 3, 8 w/ 1, 2, 3, 8 Cost: $ 18.00
