Ten races to close Alabama week at the Spa. I will be condensing my plays down to just the number and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 5-7). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 8-10). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

(1) HOT CURRENCY has speed and the rest don't. Manny likely guns her to the front and carries her home. The cut back only helps.

I’ll use (3) Meg's Foxy Grey and (7) Tennessee Belle to complete the exacta.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 8:

(7) KYLE'S MOM is fresh off the claim and the new trainer doesn't need to tweak much. She has two close 2nds on this track nd the 1M is her preferred distance. With moisture expected, I will take a shot with the Street Sense influenced (8) PENS STREET. The cut back to 1M and a possible wet surface is just what she wants. Look for her to stalk and pounce. (5) SUMMER FLOWER. She's on a roll right now and but switches to the big leagues.

Race 9:

(4) ONE BIG BEAUTIFAL BILL has not lost yet and expected to keep improving with this barn. I'll use but I like two others that are better odds. (3) MINORINCONVENIENCE is the new shooter moving back in with the NY Breds. His speed figures match up nicely with this group and has a lot off experience over the contenders. After Bubster's performance yesterday, I have to take a shot with (7) TUNING IN. He ran that one down in his maiden score and shouldn't mind the extra furlong.

Race 10:

(1) VAVALDI, (4) MELODY MAN, (7) FRANKLIN DELANO AND (9) TAMARIN all drop from the MSW ranks to this claiming two turn event. Each will likely improve and all look similar with their speed figures.
