The G1 Travers is here. It came quick as the Spa meet winds down. FIVE G1's races on the card and a beautiful day weather wise is forcasted. I will be condensing my plays down to just the number and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 9-11). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Days" and the late Pick 3 (Races 12-14). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

(8) TAM TAM is the talk of the town. This apparently is a fast filly and by the works, I would agree. Her connections are dangerous and I believe the hype. Let's enjoy.

(6) ANNASCAUL likes the Saratoga water as she ran huge on debut here last year. She's come full circle one year later and looms large today.
I’ll use (8) Phoebeinwonderland, (10) Silsbee and (13) Quick Power Nap to come late for the place spot.

(2) EPONINE looks solid at this 1M distance and they attract Irad. She meets a soft group IMO, so she doesn't need to be a monster today.
I’ll use (3) May Day Ready and (4 Warming to grab the place spot.

Call me crazy, but I want to give (6) CRAZY MASON the nod to finally catch the two favorites. He comes from well out of it, but the 7F and tons of speed up front set up this guy for a fast finish. (4) BOO'EM DANNO earned his favorite role, and if he duplicates his previous effort, he'll be tough. (7) MULLIKIN is coming back to top form. Prat returns, and the bullets in the AM are firing.

Race 14:
(4) FIRE AGATE is first time off the Maker claim and he puts Prat up. He's already showing his hand. Looks ready to roll. (9) CATHOLIC EDITION and Rice make the switch to the other Jose for this. Both would have been fine as this Catholic Boy will be closing in late. (3) SKY LOW LOW adds L1 after a decent debut where she earned a high enough speed figure that stacks up well with only slight improvement here. (13) ADDAGIRL ADDIE draws in but pass the price with a wide post. That first turn comes quick so saving ground is a must.
