The final Friday at Saratoga for the meet and we have a nice 10 race card. I will be condensing my plays to only include the number, and look to take down the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 5-7). Big Pete will be locked in to taking down a couple of his "Plays of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 8-10). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:
R8: 1, 5, 7

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 3:
Pletcher put (4) OUTPERFORM on the turf last time and this Gun Runner responded well. With Street Cry underneath, this 11F will feel like a sprint for this guy. Jose returns and doesn’t face much in here so look for him to outperform them all.
The Maker gelding, (6) Funding Gap had a decent debut against cheaper and will offer a price to complete this exacta. Brown has (2) Most Wanted Man who is the main danger.
$ 7.00 Exacta 4 w/ 2, 6 Cost $ 14.00
$ 3.00 Exacta 2, 6 w/ 2, 4, 6 Cost $ 12.00
We’ll also use (4) OUTPERFORM in R3 and try to cash a DAILY DOUBLE play.
We’ll use (2) Thinking It Over and (5) Bustin Bay in the 4th.
$ 7.00 Double 4 w/ 2, 5 Cost $ 14.00
Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 8:
(5) THIN WHITE DUKE showed up in the Troy to just miss against Golden Pal. A similar run today will put him right there. Jose jumps off Duke and lands rides (1) BIG PACKAGE again. He ran well against Artemus last time and that one ran big next time out. They likely save ground and tip out for the drive home. I went in a different direction and will try (7) FOUCI one last time. He got good this time last year posting one of his best efforts on this course. He returned earlier in the meet and ran a respectable 3rd behind Dancing Buck who ran lights out that day.. He looks to be rounding to form and is reunited with Jr. With a lack of speed in here, we may see this guy a little closer up front than we're used to. 10;1 ML is hard to pass up on him as they may have been pointing all year for this race.
$ 7.00 WPS 7 Cost $ 21.00
$ 3.00 Ex 1, 7 w/ 1, 4, 5, 7 Cost $ 18.00
Race 9:
Rudy continues to struggle but I have to give him one more shot today with (2) HOT PEPPERS. She was sharp in the Test as the 7F may be just a bit too far for her. The 6F today will make the difference as Saez will most likely be aggressive with her again. (1) WICKED HALO has been on fire for Asmussen and they cut back as well. Gaffalione flies back in for this and looks live. They should get a perfect set up sitting chilly behind multiple speeds. (3) LADY SCARLETT prefers dirt and will offer a late charge. I like her more for 2nd. I would like (8) HALF IS ENOUGH a little bit more if her trainer crossed the finish line once this meet. The 0 for 19 doesn’t dobe a lot of confidence. I guess the filly doesn’t know that though.
$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 21.00
$ 3.00 Ex 1, 2 w/ 1, 2, 3, 8 Cost $ 18.00
Race 10:
The two NYQUIST in here will play a major role in this finale. First time starter, (1) NYSHARES, gets the cozy rail spot as the first turn comes up quick and she should save some ground. Johnny V sticks around for the last one and Rice doesn’t use him an awful lot. Thinking the gelding has some talent. (6) CONQUIST is the filly to beat. She gets Jose and has speed, so if they win the front to the first turn, they could prove tough to pass turning for home. The other Rice is the danger if both go at it early. (8) CURLIN’S WISDOM tried turf again and it may be his thing. Stable rider probably had choice and he picks this one. They likely sit chilly early and come with a run late. He usually hits the board. (9) DREAMPOINT will need to work out a trip from out there. He picks up Prat for this and he is riding well.
