The early rain has come and gone and we're left with a good track and firm course for the day. I will be condensing my plays down to just the number and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 7-9). Big Pete will attack two "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 10-12); GOOD LUCK.

Race 4:
Maker is playing the claiming game well and ships in (7) EDISTRUDIS for Flying P as they try to make a run at this title needing to make up four this final weekend. They have four entered today and this guy might be their best chance today.

Race 6:
Another Flying P cuts back to sprinting. (1) FLORIDA FLOWER looks live as they enter her at the same level looking for another win at this meet. With two contenders coming out, her job got a little easier. They just need to reel in Catchphrase who is possible lone speed.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 10:
With two contenders coming out, (7) CARA'S DREAMWEAVER inherits the favorite role. I'll use her, but the 1 for 15 record doesn't make me feel warm and fuzzy. I'm going to give The Factor filly, a (10) SECOND CHANCE at a big number. She has shown speed several times, and this race is void of speed. Elliott should have plenty of time to clear off before the first turn and nurse her around the track. L1 is added here, which may explain why she may be backing up late because the distance shouldn't be a factor. The plodder, (2) MARGAUX TREASURE is the sleeper in here. She will linger behind and wait for Katie to push her along. Saving ground on both turns will help her.

Race 11
(5) DYNAMIC PRICING is borderline single in here. She exits back-to-back G1 races, and she won one of them. 9:5 ML seems like a gift, or is that a sign to be wary of this favorite? Either way, she's a must-use. The other interesting one to me is (6) PROCTOR STREET. She's two for two at the Spa, and Irad sticks with her. (7) LES REYS may have been a little short off the bench as she didn't accelerate enough late in her July effort. Smart works for this as she seems like a 1M specialist.

Race 12:
This one is wide open, and I'm not comfortable leaving out some, as five in here may not be enough. (1) CHANNEL CHECK and (9) SHARON HORIZONS are from the Brown barn with solid figures. (2) KEY ACTRESS has speed and post 2 to save ground for Mott. (10) VIA VENETO had a tough trip at big odds and managed to get within 4 lengths. Now Irad shows up. And after all that, the other Rice sends out a firster (8) VICORIOUSLY from Win Win Win, who did just that here.
