Ten races to tackle on this Friday at the Spa. I will be condensing my plays down to just the number and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 5-7). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 8-10). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $ 5.00 Early Double:

R1: 3

R2: 1, 5 Cost: $ 10.00

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R5: 2, 8, 9

R6: 3, 4, 5, 6

R7: 4, 7 Cost: $ 24.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R8: 2, 3, 7

R9: 4, 5, 6

R10: 1, 5, 7, 8 Cost: $ 36.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

(7) HYPNOTICA seems to be a work in progress. First the slop and then a turf try. With some useful works in the AM, they seem to have his head on straight and Prat returns. Brown moves back to the dirt and it should be fast today. Stalk and pounce feels like the plan.

I’ll use (2) Jadorlinija and (3) Moonlit to complete the exacta.

$ 7.00 WPS 7 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 2, 3, 7 Cost $ 18.00

We’ll also use (7) Hypnotica in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

(7) Metatron and (8) Rochester in the 4th.

$ 7.00 Daily Double 7 w/ 7, 8 Cost $ 14.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 8:

(7) ONLY FOR NOW is where I landed. She was bumped slightly through the lane, and she didn't like it. Hopefully, she learned from it because that happens all the time. Clear sailing from the outside draw should put her in position to mount a late charge. (3) BOSTON'S PHINEST looks to be in career form, and Jose is too. A similar run to her last one makes her tough today. I'll try to beat them both with (2) STAR OF LIFE. She was going longer for most of her career, and now Casse tries sprinting. She's bred to love turf; they just have to figure out her distance. Luis will be aggressive today and try to wire them, IMO.

$ 7.00 WPS 2 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 2, 3, 7 Cost $ 18.00

Race 9:

(4) IRON ORCHARD has the best last-out speed figure and shouldn't mind the two turns. She sits chilly early and makes a run turning for home. (5) LADY ROSE is the new shooter in here. A powerful win against weaker last time, but did it nicely. She doesn't need to improve that much to get it done today. (6) NEW YORK SPECIAL is a Curlin, so the dirt and two turns fit for Casse. The barn is having a meet and spotting them well. Looks like they found another one at a price.

$ 7.00 WPS 6 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 4, 5, 6 Cost $ 18.00

Race 10:

(8) COACH OF THE YEAR already graduated, but the judges said no. A slow pace last time did her in, but today looks like some speed showed up. (1) GANDERELLA is one of them. She draws the cozy hedge and will try to wire them from there. (7) AMAZING GRACER is the danger here as Manny gives her another shot. She ran best last time but had to settle for 2nd. (6) MAGIC IN MY EYES is the sleeper. She was forced to play catch-up after a tardy start. She managed to collect a check in her first attempt on the lawn, or was it L1? She gets them both again today and will be a nice price. Worth a shot.

$ 7.00 WPS 6 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 7, 8 w/ 1, 5, 7, 8 Cost $ 18.00
