We have two days left at Saratoga and we are going to look to maximize them. We are going to key in on a pair of pick 3 plays. Little Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 2:

I like the early pressers we have in this race to open it up to (5) Bourbon Currency. I expect Jose Ortiz to have his horse sitting a few lengths back and make his move around the turn to catch the field. Will hammer a WPS on this horse as others will get money thrown at them and use some horses underneath.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 5:

When they give money away at the track, you need to take it. (5) MO DEAN will be short odds, but clear win candidate for this 7F MSW sprint. Lutescoot N Boogie will likely go, but the extra distance will not help. Look for Carmouche and (9) LEIA MARIE to get first jump on Mo to pass the speeds but, that’s when Mo will kick in. We’ll try to cash in on this cold exacta.

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 7:

Landed on four horses in this one. I am anticipating (5) Calidad to set the early time fractions and have a pooled up group of runners waiting to come around the second turn. (7) Sainte Mere Eglise needs to improve in this one and I am thinking an improved trip will do just that. Expect Lezcano to be aggressive early with this horse and have her up front early. (8) Madison Parc has Rosario in this one and seems to like the grass. I think this horse is a very tough beat in here. (9) Dancing Kiki has the hot jockey of Dylan Davis aboard. This filly has shown sustained running in each of her races and we can expect a similar race, which could get it done. My last play is going to be the outside horse in (10) Chocolate Cookie. This horse gets Irad again and looks to be a horse that will improve with a little more distance and we should expect a big improvement from first time out to this one.

Race 8:

Way too soon to see a horse named "Tiz" out on the track after the heartbreak yesterday, but the show must go on. (5) Tiz he the One is my most likely pace setter and is a wire threat, so will include. The big drop down on (3) Last Judgement could wake this horse up and should be able to be aggressive in this one. (2) Thomas Shelby is coming in after a win last time out and put up a bullet workout leading in; this horse will need to be on my ticket. My last play is going to be (8) Lusitano fresh off the claim and getting Saez aboard again. This horse should be able to sit behind the early pace and have a convincing stretch drive.

Race 9:

What a highly competitive Grade 1 Spinaway we have here. I am going to close with three horses that I have an opinion on and pray for the best. (5) Beautiful Memories is a must play and will get back to the form she was first time out. This horse should be able to find the lead early and run on with this one. (6) Guana Cay is going to need to improve in here and has shown constant improvement in each start. If this filly can find a stalking position early in this one, then I think this horse has a good stretch drive out of her. My last play is going to be (2) Vequist who is getting shipped up here and looks poised to make a statement on the course today. I think Saez will set this horse up right behind (5) Beautiful Memories and have a say late to who wins this one.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 10:

After Serengeti Empress’s performance yesterday, it would be very hard to leave (1) COME DANCING out of the win slot. She got within 3 lengths of her earlier this month and hasn’t missed a beat with two bullets for this G2. Blamed has to deal with the outside speed so, I’ll look for two closers to come late for the exacta. (4) UNHOLY ALLIANCE will certainly come late and with Saez jumping on, her value moves up. (3) PINKS SANDS shows up every third or fourth race so she due to put in a good effort today. Both will find it difficult catching Come Dancing but certainly run past the tired speeds to juice up the exacta.

Race 11:

I’ll spread here as I don’t particular care for the favorites. Well use (1) SHEKKY SHEBAZ as he got squeezed when making his winning move but we’ll try to beat him. (8) PULSATE was affected more in that same race and lost all chance through the stretch. Big bullet last week in 47 flat for this and Saez takes over. I’ll use on top. (9) GIDU will gun to the lead and try to hold on. The outside post won’t help, but if he can clear the first two jumps, it may be over with Jose. (5) FIG JELLY is fresh off the Noda claim and seems to like the Spa turf. Both (3) BATTLE STATION and (6) PAGLIACCI show up every so often so why not include them as well.

Race 12:

(2) LEEWAY was shuffled back when facing better last time, then was void of a clear path. Not Rosario’s finest moment, but he gets a chance to make it right today. Look for them to use their inside post to get to the front right, similar to her maiden win. (3) TATTERAZZI drops slightly for some class relief and may have found the right group. She can sit chilly or go as well. The break will dictate Saez’s move. (10) POSITIVE SKEW usually comes late for a piece. But this time she has Irad working the controls and he has a nose for the wire.
