Little Pete's $ 5.00 Early Double:

R1: 1, 4

R2: 2, 6 Cost: $ 20.00

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R5: 2, 4, 7

R6: 1, 3, 4

R7: 1, 3, 5, 8 Cost: $ 48.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R8: 1, 6, 8

R9: 4, 5, 8

R10: 1, 2, 4, 8 Cost: $ 48.00

Little Pete's $2.00 Early Double:

Race 1:

First time starters breaking their maiden at Saratoga is what the Spa is all about. If you can win here, it usually a good sign that you're a runner and have potential. We're looking for those stars in the first two races today. (1) Mo Rewards is obviously an Uncle Mo and is bred to be a good one. Look for Irad to save some ground and tip out late. (4) Costal Chaos should have some zip in him as mom was fast and nothing needs to be said about Goldencents.

$ 5.00 WPS 4 Cost $ 15.00

$ 3.00 Ex 1, 4 w/ 1, 4, 5 Cost $ 12.00

Race 2:

Ward and Johnny V team up twice today starting with (2) Nay Say. She has two strong gate works that suggest she may be fast. She'll likely be in front turning for home. (6) Old Pho sports some fast works as well and these Pharoah's are taking well to the turf. These two will likely battle it out till the end.

$ 5.00 WPS 2 Cost $ 15.00

$ 3.00 Ex 2, 6 w/ 2, 6, 10 Cost $ 12.00

Race 3:

(3) RISK PROFILE will be the favorite. He drops slightly and cuts back. I’m guessing Saez sends him again as he did two back and won easy. If he breaks on top, he’ll be tough to catch.

$ 10.00 Exacta 3 w/ 2, 7 Cost $ 20.00

We’ll also use (1) Risk Profile in R3 and try to crash in on a DAILY DOUBLE play.

We’ll use (7) Grape Nuts Warrior and (9) Mr Kringle in the 4th.

$ 7.00 Double 3 w/ 7, 9 Cost $ 14.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 4:

(3) Austrian has the leading rider and Gargan is having a meet. A lot to like after back to back 3rd place finishes against similar. Most of these are coming off NW2L or their maiden win so the competition is not that tough. (7) Grape Nuts Warrior started his career with a decent win, then has disappointed twice as he didn’t fire at all. Finished right behind Austrian last time and I’m expecting a better performance today. The interesting colt to me is (9) MR. KRINGLE. He moves back in against NY Breds after a nice win in a starter allowance last time. The other two will attract most of the attention and he figures to be a decent price here.

$ 7.00 WPS 9 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Exacta Box 3, 7, 9 Cost $ 18.00

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 5:

We've reach the bottom of the barrel as this CLM 16k NW2L gathered a rough group. (4) Posse Can Disco has speed and does drop. If he can make it to to of the stretch in front, there's not a lot of closing power behind him. (2) Dee Bo also drops slightly and almost got there against similar two back. Davis is a positive move from last time out. (7) Noctilucent was way over his head since breaking his maiden and may have found the right group today.

$ 5.00 WPS 7 Cost $ 15.00

$ 3.00 Exacta Box 2, 4, 7 Cost $ 18.00

Race 6:

(3) Doc Doc Rock took some money in her debut but didn't run to it. The switch to turf may be what the connections wanted all along. We'll give her one more shot to prove her worth. (1) Dancing Bella has speed and turf in her blood so I won't be surprised when she comes out showing us her moves. Manny will need to save some ground at some point as she breaks from the outside. Rudy moves (4) Classic Miss to the grass after tackling November Rein. Classic Empire has started to produce some runners lately and is worth a shot here.

$ 5.00 WPS 3 Cost $ 15.00

$ 3.00 Exacta Box 1, 3, 4 Cost $ 18.00

Race 7:

(3) Winning Factor exits a fast race where he out ran his odds. I like him in this spot as Brown has two in here that will attract most of the attention. Franco returns and Donk is due for a few winners late in the meet. (1) Chocolate Bar has three consecutive 3rd place finishes at this level.Only one has come on the grass against a sharp Sanctuary ity. It's Maker and Santana and they draw the cozy hedge spot. (8) Emaraaty and (5) Principled Stand have been training togther and they attract the Ortiz boys. Either one would be no surprise.

$ 5.00 WPS 3 Cost $ 15.00

$ 3.00 Ex 1, 3 w/ 1, 3, 5, 8 Cost $ 18.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 8:

Normally, shipping in from Finger Lakes is not a winning move. But if you run a decent 2nd to AmericanRevolution out there, that’s different. (8) PURPLE HEARTED didn’t embarrass himself and now cuts back to a one turn 7F distance. Franco gets to see what develops inside of him and can choose to go or stalk. I’m all in. (1) GOLD PANDA is coming off his maiden breaker in the slop. His number is much bigger than these and a Re-Pete will make him tough. I don’t like the rail draw for this guy as he’ll have to be used hard early to gain position or get shuffled back. I’ll try to beat him. (6) WORK OUT was eased last time so I’m throwing that race out. His maiden win is good enough and picks up Saez as Jose chooses the Rice gelding.

$ 7.00 WPS 8 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 6, 8 w/ 1, 3, 6, 8 Cost $ 18.00

Race 9:

(8) MAVEN figures to be the speed. If the overseas trip doesn’t affect him, he’ll be tough to catch. Johnny V will let him fly early and will never look back. The one closer I like to make it interesting late is (4) PULSATE. He came off a long layoff to just miss against a salty group. Then he didn’t run when they tried the dirt. The move back to the turf is what this guy wants and Franco has won with him before. (5) MAXWELL ESQUIRE is a professional that always shows up. He finished right behind Pulsate last time and 5.5F seems like his best distance.

$ 7.00 WPS 4 Cost $ 21.00

$ 5.00 Ex 4, 8 w/ 4, 5, 8 Cost $ 20.00

Race 10:

I wouldn’t mind pressing the ALL button as this race looks wide open. I’ll keep the ticket manageable with four in here. (1) GAILHORSEWIND finally stretches out. This Flintshire shouldn’t mind the 9F and gets a cozy spot on the hedge to save some ground. (2) SITTING PRETTY seems better equipped for the dirt but Empire Maker has produced some turf runners. (4) LADY VALENTINE made the transition to turf look easy. Her last race tops all of them in here and would be no surprise. (8) PRUNING has traveled this 9F already and was a close 3rd. He gets Jose for the first time and if we get the 9:2 ML, I’ll use this guy on top.

$ 7.00 WPS 8 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 4, 8 w/ 1, 2, 4, 8 Cost $ 18.00
