We are looking to close out this Sunday with some cashed tickets at Saratoga. We have another stacked card and we are excited to dive right in. I will be focused on the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 5-7). Big Pete will be locked in to some "Plays of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 8-10). We appreciate you taking the time to read this and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

There are a lot of positive changes for (1) CAUMSETT to get this her picture taken today. They cut her back to this 5.5F sprint distance, draws the cozy rail to get to the turn first and the cherry on top is that Irad takes the mount. This race is void of other speed so if Irad gets away cleanly, it could be over in the first furlong.

$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 21.00

$ 7.00 Exacta 1 w/ 2, 3 Cost $ 14.00

We’ll also use Caumsettin R3 and try to crash in on a DAILY DOUBLE play.

Both (1) Off We Go and (3) Harper’s In Charge look solid in the 4th

$ 7.00 Double 1 w/ 1, 3 Cost $ 14.00

Little Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 4:

(1) Off We Go I think will be the horse that benefits the most from the style this race will be won. Jose Ortiz has the inside post position and is getting back to a sprint. There is speed to his outside so he will be able to find the rail early and make the others pass on the outside. That should be able to open up for his horse to close strong and take this one. I also like (3) Harper's In Charge to benefit from the Rosario addition, so will use in an exacta on top as well.

$5.00 WPS 1 Cost: $15.00

$3.00 Ex 1 w/ 2,3,5,6 Cost: $12.00

$2.00 Ex 3 w/ 1,2,5,6 Cost: $8.00

Little Pete's $2.00 Early Double:

Race 1:

(1) Calibogue Sound is my top pick in here exiting a race with Honey Money who went on to win some allowance races and was in good form last time out. I will anticipate a big jump from the extended workouts and a better chance at the winner's circle. (2) Shaker Shack will be on the lead and will be a tough catch late. I trust Jose Ortiz to get the job done and the most likely winner. (5) Spun D'Etat is getting some class relief in here and has great speed races on the PP's. I am going to have Tyler sitting right behind the pace from the inside and have plenty of horse late to run down the foes.

$3.00 WPS 1 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex Box 1,2,5 Cost: $12.00

Race 2:

(1/1A) from the Chad Brown barn with Flavien Prat and Irad Ortiz are a must play. Irad had a rough day yesterday and will look for a rebound effort this time out. (2) Penny Saver has a race under her belt and that only helps. The surface change and distance added do not scare me and this horse is a dangerous one in here. (3) Love To Run has some bullet workouts coming in and the distance shouldn't be a problem at all. This horse will be on the rail throughout and will have a second gear late. (5) Skylerville is a horse I really like in here. Johnny V is finding himself lately and will be bringing this horse home strong.

$3.00 WPS 3 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 1,3 w/ 1,2,3,5 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 2,5 w/ 1,2,3,5 Cost: $6.00

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 5:

(1) Majestic Tiger and (4) I'm Blaming You are both exiting the same race and I think a re-pete performance in that one will have these horses possibly running 1-2. I also feel the same way with (5) Babagram and Tempesta who are horses I really like in here and I am going to make (7) Tempesta my top pick in here. I think these four horses will be placed well throughout and all compete late for the wire.

$3.00 WPS 7 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 4,7 w/ 1,4,5,7 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 1,5 w/ 1,4,5,7 Cost: $6.00

Race 6:

(1) Popular Vote will be my top pick in here. She is exiting a race that she will improve on and ran into Interstate Daydream who is running in the Gr.2 Adirondack in the 8th. This horse is going to run a big one in here and like the switch to Rosario. (3) Amani's Image has the Tapit lineage and the Pletcher/Irad connection in here. I am going to include in case this is a 2 year old ready to run first time out for the barn. (7) Fabulous Fanny has been training lights out and Asmussen/Santana, Jr. just won a big two year old race yesterday. This horse looks to be dangerous and a must play for me. My last play will be (10) MommasGottaRun with those bullet workouts coming in. The direction will be to be on the lead and Gaffalione is a terrific gate rider. This horse could be ready to sustain a big run in here.

$3.00 WPS 1 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex Box 1,7 w/ 1,3,7,10 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 3,10 w/ 1,3,7,10 Cost: $6.00

Race 7:

This appears to be a single opportunity with (3) Viadera. This horse is dangerous at this distance and coming in winning 3 in a row. The winning margin does not matter for me, all being by a neck, it just is well timed rides by Rosario. In case we get a late run by Rosario we will include the other Brown horse in (7) Regal Glory. Jose Ortiz is going to be aggressive early from the outside to find a forwardly placed position on the rail and then wait for his opportunity to fan out wide to run down the field. I feel comfortable with investing in these two on the last leg (Famous last words).

$5.00 Ex Box 3,7 Cost: $10.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 8:

Both runners coming out of the Debutante look strong. (2) ONTHEONESANDTWOS made a bid for the lead but couldn’t sustain it after a tardy start. The presence of Irad and a cozy spot behind the speeds make this gal dangerous. (7) WICKED HALO has speed and is Jose’s choice. She went too fast last time so the outside draw may help her settle into stride out of the gate. Jose can see what develops inside of him and go from there. Cox has a good one in (6) INTERSTATEDAYDREAM. Battled the whole way to get the nod in her debut and she won’t mind the extra furlong. Saez makes this 10:1 ML a very enticing filly.

$ 7.00 WPS 7 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 2, 7 w/ 2, 4, 6, 7 Cost $ 18.00

Race 9:

Smith is here to ride (7) CREATIVE FLAIR for Appleby. Smith ran yesterday here but I think this gal is the reason he made the trip. The farther the better it seems for this daughter of Dubawi. Brown has two in here. (6) ROCKY SKY dominated in her last and has improved in each of her races. She may be in front early and never stop running. Her stable mate, (1) HIGHER TRUTH just keeps coming and will need to reel in Rocky. She should save some ground coming out off the one hole. You can’t forget (3) GAM’S MISSION. She was making up ground late in the G1 Belmont Oaks and now picks up Saez. He usually makes a horse a few lengths better then they are.

$ 7.00 WPS 7 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 6, 7 w/ 1, 3, 6, 7 Cost $ 18.00

Race 10:

(8) STANHOPE has speed and I don’t many that will challenge him early. Rudy’s getting warm and Irad rides him for the first time. He’s been facing open company most of his career and now joins his fellow NY Breds. (3) ALBIE has been competitive but he rarely wins. Maybe the switch to Gaff will wake him up. (7) CATCH THAT PARTY almost got there last time against similar. Has a win and a 2nd against NY Breds and the 8:1 ML makes him very attractive. (9) PERPETRATE is coming out of the same race as Party. The lack of speed is a concern but if he can somehow save some ground from way out there, he could threaten late.

$ 7.00 WPS 8 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 7, 8 w/ 3, 7, 8, 9 Cost $ 18.00
