Friday racing in Saratoga and we are covering the entire card. We both will be at the track for Saturday and Sunday and we will be looking to use today to build the weekend bankroll. I will be focused on the early double (Races 1-2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 5-7). Big Pete will be locked on a pair of "Plays of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 8-10). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $ 2.00 Early Double:

R1: 1, 4, 7

R2: 1, 2, 5, 8 Cost: $ 24.00

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R5: 1, 4, 5, 9

R6: 1, 5, 7, 8

R7: 9, 11, 12 Cost: $48.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R8: 1, 9

R9: 1, 5, 6

R10: 4, 6, 7, 9 Cost: $ 24.00

Little Pete's $2.00 Early Double:

Race 1:

(1) Arms An Armor is coming in with the Asmussen/Santana, Jr. combo and the inside post. This should allow the horse to find his footing early and be forwardly placed on the rail. That should pay off well late against this field and we should expect a nice finish to this race for this horse. (4) Kisses For Val had an awful debut and is switching surfaces in here. this horse has been training consistently well and coming in here as a wild card. I love the odds and expecting this horse to out run the odds. (7) Big Little Risk is going to be forwardly placed in here and Luis Saez is going to bully these guys late; this horse is a must play.

$2.00 Ex Box 1,4,7 Cost: $12.00

Race 2:

(2) Price Talk is my top pick in here to be able to close strongly late against this field. Jose Ortiz should be able to find a nice rail position and save all the ground throughout. (5) Summer To Remember is going to be ridden aggressive from the gate and has shown the ability to wire the field. Luis Saez is going to be a bully in here as well, so a must play for me. (1) Stanford ships in for Maker and are trying to lay low at 8:1. As soon as everyone notices Irad taking the call, he'll likely come down a little. They may have found an easier group to try and reel in. Last play will be (8) Junkanoo who is going to be extremely tough in here. This horse is training lights out and could be in good enough form to be the strongest late.

$3.00 WPS 2 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 2,8 w/ 1, 2,5,8 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 1, 5 w/ 1, 2,5,8 Cost: $6.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

I’ll look to get McPeek off the goose egg in the win column. (5) SALIT has been dealing with MSW company and now gets the slight class relief she needs. Her speed figures match up against this group and she attracts Jose for the ride. She’s worth a shot at this 12:1 ML with Brown taking a lot of money in here. dropping his entry in here and they figure to take a lot of money.

$ 7.00 WPS 5 Cost $ 21.00

$ 7.00 Exacta 5 w/ 1, 10 Cost $ 14.00

We’ll also use (5) Salit in R3 and try to crash in on a DAILY DOUBLE play.

$ 7.00 Double 5 w/ 5, 7 Cost $ 14.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 4:

Rice scratched one and left (6) TRASH TALKER in to do the talking. His race two back against this level would be good enough today. The other Ortiz, Irad, will likely stalk or go depending on the break. We probably won’t get the 8:1 ML, but half of that is a steal.

We use (1) Supply And Demand and (5) Likeable underneath.

$ 7.00 WPS 6 Cost $ 21.00

$ 7.00 Exacta 6 w/ 1, 5 Cost $ 14.00

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 5:

Large fields in this pick 3 sequence, so we need to spread a bit. (1) More Than Vows has bullet workouts leading in and getting the inside post position. This horse is going to be early to the lead and could be all she wrote on the lead. (4) Bubble Rock is going to be able to sit behind the pace and Irad will find the lane late with a horse that should be looking to run down the field late; even first time out. (5) Lia Marina is training really well in here and I love Uncle Mo horse's on grass. The Rosario/Clemente connection is a winning combination and hoping that we can get this horse at a nice price. My last play will be a horse that has shown the ability to run in previous races in (9) Champagne Camie. This horse should be able to sit behind the early speed and Jose Ortiz will be aggressive late to try and will this horse to the finish line.

$3.00 WPS 5 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 5,9 w/ 1,4,5,9 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 1,4 w/ 1,4,5,9 Cost: $6.00

Race 6:

Another large field in here where I am looking to spread out a bit. (1) Royal Currency has been training extremely well and I think this horse will be able to sit behind the pace and wait for the right time to strike late. (5) Sue Ellen Mishkin has also shown speed in workouts and should be getting an aggressive ride. It is tough to leave Saez off any ticket, so will be playing. (7) Doc Doc Rock is going to be impressive in this one and could wire the field. Pletcher in NY bred maiden special weights are races we could even look to single. My last play is (8) Caragate from the Arrogate lineage. This horse has been training well and I think Dylan will place this horse forwardly in here to allow this horse a chance late. I think this race could break down on the front end and going to give Dylan a try and cash in on that.

$3.00 WPS 7 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 1,7 w/ 1,5,7,8 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 5,8 w/ 1,5,7,8 Cost: $6.00

Race 7:

I landed on three horses to the outside in this one. (11) My Lips are Sealed is a horse I really like in here to impress after not running her race last time out. This horse should be able to find a better position with Irad getting the mount and be able to save ground throughout. (9) Choose Happiness is ascending at the moment and Rosario will be able to wait for the time to strike and give this horse the best shot at winning this one. My last play will be (12) Masterof The Tunes who is coming in breaking her maiden and has been impressive on grass. I expect Ricardo Santana, Jr. to be aggressive early to find the rail and then fan out wide late to run down the tiring horses.

$3.00 Ex Box 9,11,12 Cost: $18.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 8:

I only like two in here to kick off this late Pick 3 and they both exit the same race opening weekend. (1) SHEKKY SHEBAZ went off the favorite and probably plays that roll today. He has speed so the move to the rail gives this guy the inside track to save some ground. Irad has to go and that’s what Shekky wants to do. The only other one I want is (9) COMPETITVE SAINT. In this case, I think the outside post will help him get away clean and wait for Luis to push the button. He’ll let them go at it early and come late. The difference of winning or coming 2nd will be if Saez can save a little ground and find a seam. I think he can handle that.

$ 7.00 WPS 9 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 1, 9 w/ 1, 2, 9 Cost $ 12.00

$ 3.00 Cold Pick 3 1 w/ 1 w/ 6, 9 Cost $ 6.00

Race 9:

You won’t have to…(5) WONDRWHERECRAIGIS, because he’ll be in front. This guy is fast and Saez must use it to his advantage. If he can catch a breather somewhere, Craig can take them all the way. (6) FOOLISH GHOST is a ghost no more. He’s become scarier in his last few races and his last is his best yet. If he can Re-Pete that effort at 6F today, they are all running for 2nd. (1) MY BOY TATE is the sleeper in here. He tried to catch Ghost last time but came up short in the mud. A dry track and more pace to target will help this Boy close the gap.

$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 1, 6 w/ 1, 5, 6 Cost $ 12.00

Race 10:

Halfway through the meet and Maker is now thinking, I’ve got a shot at this title. He may sacrifice a few horses here and there to grab this title. (4) GOOD CULTURE may be one of them today. They drop him sharply after showing nothing going two turns. The cut back will help as will Jose returning. With the favorite coming out, this guy might inherit that roll. (7) APEX PREDATOR is my ridiculous one I’ll throw in here. The last two time Davis took the mount, they won and got the place. I would keep an eye on Rudy the 2nd half of the meet. He typically heats up now and it carries out the rest of the year. (6) PROFUSION cuts back to 7F after a good 2nd at a 1M. Vargas is due to get his picture taken and I think they will be a little more aggressive with this guy today and be close to the lead. If no one else goes with them, he can stick around for a while. (9) WELL DONE WEST will take some money as this guy drops a level or two for Gargan. The post won’t help but the easier group will offset that. He’s your likely winner.

$ 7.00 WPS 6 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 6, 9 w/ 4, 6, 7, 9 Cost $ 18.00
