Saturday racing at Saratoga and we have the entire card covered! We will be breaking down our plays in a double and two pick 3 plays. We feel like we are finding our footing at the Spa and are excited to cash in some tickets. We also will have some "Play of the Day" action on a couple of races we see an opportunity to cash in on. We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Plays of the Day":
Race 3:
It’s been a while since (7) THE SICARII has had his picture taken but there’s something different about him lately. Since the claim two back, he stepped up in class and rallied through the stretch to get 3rd. He then went to work in the mornings and posted 3 straight bullet works. He now moves back down slightly and gets 6.5F to deal with. Manny returns as they all look dressed up for the camera.
We’ll use (5) Alcools and (6) Strolling underneath.

We’ll also use The Sicarii in R3 and try to crash in on a DAILY DOUBLE play.
Both (4) Bardolino and (5) Knockout Punch look solid in the 4th

Race 4:
There figures to be plenty of speed for the closers to come late at spoil the party. (4) BARDOLINO may let them go at it and sit right off them. Saez will save some ground with his inside draw and weave his way through the stretch. They drop in class and Bond if off to a good start here. All systems go for this gelding.
We’ll use (2) Lyrical Poet and (5) Knockout Punch underneath.

Little Pete's "Early" Double:
Race 1:
The two favorites in here are a must play with (1) Giocare and (7) Royal Realm. Both of these horses should be forwardly placed and going to be a tough beat late. The horse that I like to run by them late is (5) Prime Time Player who will be set up well in here with some speed in front of him and the distance shouldn't be a problem for this one. The stretch drive is where this horse will be running his best and I like the shot this horse has.

Race 2:
I am sticking to my guns and staying to the inside. The two Chad Brown horses look like monsters in here and will get the blanket play from me. They should be stalking throughout the race and then run on with this one late, in typical Chad Brown style. Also, having the Ortiz brothers doesn't hurt. The horse I am excited to see is (1) Sitting Pretty to the inside with some nice workouts coming in. This horse should be positioned well throughout and the Clement barn is hitting their stride right now (Nice).

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:
Race 6:
This is a tough first leg to the pick 3, so I will be going four deep in here. (2) Labarde has a race under his belt where he performed extremely well and should improve this time out. (7) Watasha is a Chad Brown horse that should be forwardly placed throughout and looks to be the real deal first time out. (9) Irish Sea has some bullet workouts coming in and we should be expecting a front running performance under Jose Ortiz in here. (10) Fluid Situation is a horse that I really like to take well to the outside and save a ton of ground late. Rosario has a habit of saving a horses energy throughout a race and timing out a great run late.

Race 7:
(11) Space Launch is the most likely winner in here from the Clement barn and Rosario getting the mount. This race is filled with speed and will only benefit the late run this horse will make. (12) Future Victory is a horse I like to run a similar style race but be a bit more forwardly placed. Irad will find the positioning and this horse won at this distance last time out. (5) Sigiloso is an interesting play in here who will have the post position to find an early rail spot. This horse was a victim of a bad trip and should be a great price for us come post time. Alvarado is not going to be passive in here and will be ready to win. (9) Munqad is my last play in here who is going to be running strongly late and a dangerous horse late.

Race 8:
Take the chalk in here to close the pick 3. (1) Split Then Double is going to be a jet late and the rail position sets this horse up extremely well for a well timed run. (2) Baby Blythe is my top play in here under Rosario who will have this horse positioned well and if there is an early battle for the lead, then this horse will be extremely strong late. (3) Rastafara is going to be close or on the lead throughout and that head start for this horse may be too much to ask from the field.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 9:
(6) CARAMEL SWIRL was thrown to the wolves in the 8Belles G2 last time. Now she returns to where she belongs. A Re-Pete of her maiden score would be enough but will she gives us that. Using defensively. There is speed in here so I’ll use the rail runner (1) GLASS CEILIG to come with her patented late charge. She usually comes up short, but the 7F fits her much better. (8) FLASH MAGIC blew away maidens when she shipped East. No reason to think they will take their foot off the pedal in here as she may have been helped the most with the Brown runner scratching. She’s a threat to go all the way again. (9) MUCHO MACHO MOMMA ships in and gets Saez. The cut back to 7F may be the right move.

Race 10:
All eyes will be on post 1 and 2 in this G3 Caress. I prefer (2) ROBIN SPARKLES as she continues to run fast and doesn’t let fillies go by. I’ll key her on top BUT I’ll also include the deep closer in case the others speeds decide to go right at Robin. (5) FLOWER POINT figures to get the perfect set up and she has the best finisher on her back. She’ll sit back and make a strong stretch run. She needs help from the others to soften up the favorite. I think she gets it today. We’ll try to get by with only these two.

Race 11:
(7) MY LIPS ARE SEALED will take a lot on money in the finale as she just got beat by Runaway Rumour and Spungie and they both won easy next time out. A must use but I’ll try to beat her with two others. (3) MOPOLKA has two sharp wins on the front ends and now moves back in against NYS Breds. Rice claimed her two back and she has her well spotted in this one. I landed on (5) ELECTRIC YOUTH. She lost to Spungie and before that Time Limit who returned to win the other day. She tried turf last time and I think she liked it. Didn’t get away that well and it cost her. A clean break and this Dialed In filly will offer a late bid at a decent price. Irad shows up on (8) CHOOSE HAPPINESS. She switched to turf lately and has made steady progress. They may be sitting on one here so we’ll include.
