Friday's in Saratoga is where we will gain the momentum going into the weekend. We are looking to take down the Early Double and a Late Pick 3 today. Big Pete will also have a "Play of the Day" and some selection on the rest of the card to try and improve the bankroll.

I guess Miller could start to heat up, but it hasn't been pretty running on the East coast this year. He reaches out for Irad here but I think it's the perfect time to bet against. I like the Entry in this opener as I see (1A) Smooth B being aggressive here and taking control of the front end. All the while stablemate, (1) Girolamo's Attack will save some ground and just sit and wait for his signal from Gaff. A solid 1-2 punch for Pete's Picks to get the Friday card off and running. We'll use the favorite (5) Shashashakemeup as a savor

(6) Clear Humour is dropping in for a tag and Weaver tends to show up here every year. He showed some speed before fading last time. He was up against River Dog that day and there's not that kind of bark entered here today. (8) Quick Return will attract some money from his neck defeat last time but he faces better today. The Asmussen runner (3) Arms An Armor might just forget to stop up front.

Clement has two in here and Classic Colors will be the main focus. I prefer the other one

(3) TIMELESS JOURNEY in this NYS Bred NW2X instead. Stable jock sticks with this her as she moves back to the turf, She came off the layoff in May and ran well, then faced better in the mud. That should have this gal set up nicely to stalk and pounce on the leaders heading for home. It’s worth noticing that both her turf wins have come at the Spa.

We’ll use (4) Light In The Sky, (6) Chocolate Cookie and (7) Classic Colors underneath.

I’m not a fan of Patty H and I’ll try to get by without her. The other favorite, (6) EASY TO BLESS has shown consistent speed to be dangerous if left alone. Miceli won with her first off the claim and invites Rosario back. (7) GREATEST LOVE finished behind Patty last time but that was in the slop. Amoss calls on Irad to get the money. Noda has been on some kind of roll. He as (4) RIDING ON A WINNER in here as she improved 2nd time out to get 3rd. The slight cutback to 6F and the addition of Jose will make this gal worth a shot at 5:1 ML.

Race 9:

(1) RINALDI may have the front all to himself. With these tight turns at the Spa, I’ll lean heavy on Saez to nurse him around. Brown has two entered and both look the part. (9) SACRED LIFE has been facing better and gets a rider switch to Rosario. If they can save some ground, they will be coming home strong late. (3) VALUE PROPOSITION has two strong starts this year and the barn is looking for a big year from him. I’ll include longshot (8) SANCTUARY CITY who continues to improve this year. He closed well here last year so if the speeds back up, he’ll come late to light up the board.

(8) KREESA LA WROTE finished right behind Runaway Rumour two back then tried distance and caught some traffic in the next two. I’m expecting a big run today. I’m all in. (6) UNCLE’S GEM is a firster from Uncle Mo. They are doing well on the turf and this guy had some trouble in the same race as Kreesa. (4) U SHOULD BE DANCING will try to bottom out the field but she seems to like 2nd. (9) FANCY FELINE was enter for turf last time and it got rained off. She gets Luis and the grass today. Need to include.
