Friday racing at Belmont and we are looking to take down a pair of pick 3 plays that covers the pick 6 sequence. I will be focused on races 4-6 and Big Pete will be locked into races 7-9. We also will have our "Play of the Day" on a race we would like to try and improve our bankroll on. We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R4: 3, 4, 5

R5: 2, 3, 7, 8

R6: 5, 9, 10, 11 Cost: $48.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R7: 2, 3

R8: 1, 6, 8, 9

R9: 3, 4, 7, 9 Cost: $ 32.00

Little Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 2:

On the switch to dirt, I'll swing for the fence with (10 ON OUR WAY BOYZ. He didn't run much in two starts last year and was put on the shelf. He then resurfaced down south and showed some speed and wasn't beaten that much against slightly better. Now he heads north to face his fellow NY Breds. The Central Bankers usually don't mind a little moisture in the track so today works out in his favor as he faces turf runners.

$5.00 WPS 10 Cost: $ 15.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

I didn't like the the dull effort Heavy Roller produced last time so I'm betting against him on the major drop. I'll focus on (5) RUNABOUT to show up again and handle his suspect group. He's been consistant all year and Saez sticks around even off the claim last time. To try on juice up the exacta I'll try to get (1) Hawaiian Noises and (2) Bluegrascat's Smile to give us one more run. They will both be big odds but every now and then they remember how to run.

$ 7.00 Exacta 5 w/ 1, 2 Cost $ 14.00

We’ll also use Runabout in R3 and try to crash in on a DAILY DOUBLE play.

(4) Pier Forty and (7) Beatthatflew look solid in the 4th

$ 7.00 Double 5 w/ 4, 7 Cost $ 14.00

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 4:

(3) Beach Front is a horse that I like to find the lead and try and wire the field. In these lower level claiming races I like to take the horse that I know will be aggressive throughout. (4) Pier Forty should not be too far off of him and could have just a little more left in the tank late to compete for this one. My last play will be (5) Anzio Beach as I like the recent form of this one and think will be set up well for a late closing finish in this one if there is a pace battle early.

$3.00 Ex Box 3,4,5 Cost: $18.00

Race 5:

(3) Surprise Boss looked uncomfortable in his debut. He leveled off too late and we're expecting a more professional run today. (2) Khali's Dream is where I landed. Dad could run on any surface but what stands out is the Smokin Mel influence. He liked it wet and Englehart is enjoying a good meet. I don't think we get theis 15:1 ML but half of that will be a bargain. (7) Raw Courage had an impressive debut. If he runs back to that effort, they all will be running for 2nd. (8) Run Curtis Run is working fast in the morning. Seems to be a lot of buzz that Curtis can run. This could be a tune up race for bigger and better things down the road in Saratoga!

$3.00 WPS 8 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 7, 8 w/ 2,3,7,8 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 3, 7 w/ 2,3,7,8 Cost: $6.00

Race 6:

I use three MTO's as this race completely changed with the surface switch. (9) A Bit O'Irish Sass and (11) Raffinity will take most of the action in here. Irad gets the call on Raffinity and they will look to wire this bunch. Sass shouldn't be too far behind and will mount a charge through the stretch. (5) Candy Monet is a firster I would like to try in here with that bullet workout coming in. This horse is going to be ready to roll come stretch drive and if the early leaders battle then I like this horse late. Last play will be (10) Road To Remember. Both dad and Grandad were freaks in the mud and the extra distance will only help.

$3.00 WPS 9 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 9, 11 w/ 5, 9, 10, 11 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 5, 10 w/ 5, 9, 10, 11 Cost: $6.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

(3) UNCLE MOONLIGHT has come back with a purpose this year with a win and a fast closing 3rd to Mr Phil who ran well next out. Manny subs in for Nevin and I’m expecting better results with the added distance for this Uncle Mo. (2) KID BOURBON may have found the right field. Most of his races are faster then these runners but he struggles to hit the wire first. Irad is summoned and he has a nose for the wire.

$ 7.00 WPS 3 Cost $ 21.00

$ 5.00 Ex 2, 3 w/ 2, 3, 7 Cost $ 20.00

Race 8:

(9) KOKOPELLI is the now filly as she is 2 for 2 for Clement. She won rather easy but today she faces some professional fillies and mares. This is a big test for her. (6) MISCHIEVOUS DREAM is the “other” Clement. This gal drops slightly and cuts back. This will be her first time against her elders and gets L1. There’s a lot to like about her. The one to watch is (8) THE IMPORTANT ONE. She gave some of these a scare last time and looks to be sitting on one. Asmussen is having a meet and reaches out to Lezcano. Worth a shot at his price.

$ 7.00 WPS 8 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 6, 8 w/ 1, 6, 8, 9 Cost $ 18.00

Race 9:

A wide open finale but I narrowed it to four. (7) GOOD OLD BOY returns to face NY Breds. He’s been a handful at this level and I’m expecting more of the same today. (3) COLD HARD CASH is interesting. He tried turf for the first time and Johnny V almost go him home. A similar effort makes him dangerous here. I’ll lean on (9) MO FAITH a little as this lightly raced Uncle Mo has figured this game out quickly. She was taken back early last time and that doesn’t seem to be here style. Look for an aggressive Benji to stalk and let her loose coming for home. (4) SOMETHINGTOTELLYOU has made the switch to turf for Clement. He ran well last time vs open company and wasn’t far from Mo when they last met.

$ 7.00 WPS 9 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 7, 9 w/ 3, 4, 7, 9 Cost $ 18.00
