We have an (11) race card with (2) Stake races today at Belmont. We are going to look to cover most of the races today to cash in some tickets. I will be looking to take down the early double (Races 1 & 2) as well as a spot pick 3 that starts the pick 6 sequence (Races 6-8). Big Pete will have a couple of his "Plays of the Day" as well as taking down the late pick 3 (Races 9-11). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $2.00 Early Double:
Race 1:
(1) Dover Dreams and (6) Saffron Moon each have some experience from the Chad Brown barn and will be closing strongly late.I think both of these horses are a must play in here and will enjoy the stretch out. (3) Anileate is training extremely well coming in and I think this horse will be forwardly placed throughout. With a field of inexperienced horses I like to lean on a horse that I anticipate to be on the lead. (4) Nest is training lights out and may be too good against this field. The Irad/Pletcher connection is tough to go against and really tough to leave off the ticket.

Race 2:
(1A) Striking Speed and (11) F F Rocket from the Rob Atras barn draw the dirt in here and these horses look like one of the likely winners in here. Both of these horses will be aggressive from the gate and wait for the moment down the stretch to attack. I also like (12) Rocco Strong is going to get an aggressive ride in here and looks poised to hit the lead and compete throughout.

Race 3:
I like (4) QUICK RETURN fresh off the claim and faces fellow NY Breds again. He took a lot of money against NW2L at the Spa and I think he has a thing for Big Sandy. Castellano is winning again so this guy looks live at these 5:1ML.

Race 4:
Most are blaming Money Mike for (2) LIFE IS GOOD’s last defeat but Jackie’s Warrior is a Warrior. He was coming off a layoff and he could have been short too. No chance of that today. Irad subs in as this is a public workout today. I like the rail runner (1) Fort Peck to past the others to sneak into the exacta.

Race 5:
I’ll give (8) TIPLE one more shot here. She’s been on my radar now for the last two outings coming close both times. No one was catching Lead Guitar that day and a slight bobble at the start and wide trip was too much to overcome. Lezcano returns and the move to Belmont, the scene of her last win, will make all the difference.
(5) Too Sexy looks just that and will be the main danger. (6) Time Limit is on a good roll right now so I can’t discount this one.

Race 6:
I am going with all firsters in here in this NY special weight. (4) Tap'N De Bank is a horse that will be aggressive from the gate and could be a wire to wire threat. (5) Thrill of It is going to be a horse I like to eat up ground late against a tiring field. (8) Overstep is going to be aggressive as well in here and you have to include the Irad/Pletcher combo. (9) Asymmetric is a horse that also is training well from the Chad Brown barn and I think will be waiting for the right moment down the stretch.

Race 7:
(2) Shamrocket is coming in great form to this one and the horse to beat for me. This horse will be able to find the lead early and be able to sustain a big run in here. (4) Winning Factor is also in good form coming into this one and will be closing strongly on this soft surface. (7) Flop Shot is going to have the patented Irad/Brown closing speed and I trust Irad to time that run perfectly.

Race 8:
(4) Kitten by the Sea is coming in strong into this one with two wins. Cancel will wait for the moment to shoot down the stretch. (9) Miss Dracarys is coming in with a win on a good surface and is getting that condition this time out. Alvarado is going to be able stalk the lead and let this horse loose late. (10) Clara Peeters has a fantastic name and coming in with good form. Manny should be aggressive early and let this horse's natural ability run on with it late.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 9:
(10) EDDIE THE GREAT is a Munnings and sports a quick gate work for his debut. Cox has hit the board in his three starts this meet and he’s looking for the W. He looks fast enough from the gate to find a cozy spot from that outside post. (7) BRADY’S LEGACY continues in Tampa but this Brady deserves another shot. His debut was not his finest hour so I’m looking for an audible second time out. We’ll include a few more as the Athenia looks chalky. (6) WHO HOO THAT’S ME exits the Funny Cide, and she figures to be right there again today. Firster (2) UNIQUE UNIONS ran just as fast as Eddie The Great did and is a lot better odds.

Race 10:
Not a lot to say in this 9F Athenia. Both of Brown’s runners look to have it to themselves. (4) POCKET SQUARE has dominated when she doesn’t face G1 material and there’s none of that here. Irad chooses this one so I will as well. (2) MISS TEHERAN beat a soft group at the Spa two back and closed ok at Monmouth last time out. Maybe the extra distance is what she wants.

Race 11:
(11) U SHOULD B DANCING will provide some speed up front. Her problem is holding on to it long enough. Rudy’s going go right now though so she should be on her toes again. The surface change won’t matter. (10) VIVAZANO cuts back and has speed as well. I think Cancel can use that to gain position early and then let her loose late. (12) LIVE IN FIVE is your MTO runner but she faces MSW this time. Not an easy task even though these are turf runners. (7) ROAD TO REMEMBER has dirt races that make her tough in here. Her 5/31 run at Belmont would beat this group.
