We are looking to close out halloweekend on the winning way at Belmont. I will be condensing my plays to only be including the numbers each race. I will be attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 5-7). Big Pete will have a couple of his "Plays of the Day" as well as the late pick 3 (Races 8-10). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $ 3.00 Early Double:

R1: 2, 3

R2: 12, 13 Cost: $ 12.00

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R4: 1, 3, 7

R5: 5, 12

R6: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 Cost: $ 30.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R7: 3, 6, 7

R8: 1, 7 ,8

R9: 1, 2, 3, 9 Cost: $ 36.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

(1) APRIL ANTICS was facing much better runners at the Spa and then wanted no part of the 1M distance she tried earlier this month. She gets back to sprinting and drops a little more. With Harkie aboard, we should get higher odds then we should. If the jock can stay out of trouble, she can close to win it all..

$ 10.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 30.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 1, 2, 6 Cost $ 18.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

All eyes will be on (7) WONDRWHERECRAIGIS as this guy is 5 for 9 in the win column. What scares me is that they are all at 6F and this extra furlong today is why I’ll look to beat him. I like the “other” Munnings in here (6) CONTINUATION. Irad quietly takes the mount on this shipper and makes the slight cut back. They will sit right off the favorite and wait for him to drift, like he did in his last two and then go by.

(3) PLAINSMAN comes in red hot for Cox and is the horse to beat IMO. He’s a neck short of 5 in a row and also cuts back to the perfect 7F distance for him. Rosario had the test drive in the Ack Ack and is ready to takle this Bold Ruler. (4) DRAFTED will get overlooked in here and maybe cant’t win but is a threat to juice up the exacta by passing tired runners late.

$ 7.00 WPS 6 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 3, 6 w/ 3, 4, 6, 7 Cost $ 18.00

Race 8:

Now the girls go at it in the Pumpkin Pie. (1) ALWAYS CARINA has the speed and the rail to grab control early and take them all the way. She struggles with two turns so this cut back to 7F will make all the difference. The other favorite, (7) LADY ROCKET will be prompted just off Carina and will come with her run late. She couldn’t catch Bella last time and it could be De Javu all over again. (8) LAKE AVENUE took the afternoon off against Lady Rocket last time. Her prior three races before the Gallant Bloom, were spot on. If she finds those races, she’ll be the main danger late.

$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 1, 7 w/ 1, 2, 7, 8 Cost $ 18.00

Race 9:

(3) EL VEINTICUATRO made the switch to dirt last time and it earned him a 3rd place finish. He might go from his inside post and make someone come and get him. The “other” Rudy is interesting as well. (2) FLATBUSH also started on turf and showed a little speed. Now they run a Big Sandy and cut back to this 6F distance. (9) EMPIRE STATION goes out for the hot Weaver barn. He ran evenly in his debut and with that under his belt, will be dangerous from that outside post. (1) WORKINGMAN’S DUDE didn’t have the cleanest run in his debut. I’ll give him another chance with a clean trip.

$ 7.00 WPS 3 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 2, 3 w/ 1, 2, 3, 9 Cost $ 18.00
