Sunday racing at Belmont and we have a (10) race card. I am going to look to take down the early double as well as a spot pick- 3 (Races 5-7). Big Pete will have a couple of his "Plays of the Day" as well as taking down the late pick 3 (Races 8-10). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $2.00 Early Double:

R1: 1, 5

R2: 1, 4, 6, 8, 9

Cost: $20.00

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R5: 2, 5, 7, 9

R6: 2, 3, 6, 7

R7: 2, 6, 11

Cost: $48.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R8: 5, 7

R9: 2, 3, 6

R10: 2, 5, 6, 8

Cost: $24.00

Little Pete's $2.00 Early Double:

Race 1:

(1) Sosua is going to be my top pick in here with the post position and training lights out coming into this one. Jose Ortiz is going to be aggressive from the break and this shortened distance should be all this horse needs to wire the field. (5) Flower Point is going to get the Saez bump and be placed perfectly throughout. This horse will be waiting for the moment down the stretch to strike and a must play for me.

$3.00 WPS 1 Cost: $9.00

$4.00 Ex 1,5 Cost: $8.00

Race 2:

(1) FreedomOfThePress is a must play in here and most likely winner. (4) Now Yus Cant Leave is going to be on the lead and this lower level field may be what this horse needs to break her maiden. (6) Balinese is going to be closing strongly against this field and if we have a speed battle early then I trust Saez to find the lane late. (8) PeaceBeTheJourney is also going to be closing strongly and we should anticipate a better run on grass second time out. (9) Dearest Kitten is my last play who is getting Rosario in here and should be waiting for the moment to strike come stretch drive.

$3.00 WPS 6 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 1,6 w/ 1,4,6,8,9 Cost: $16.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

Something went wrong in (5) KADEN’s debut and he was eased after showing some speed. He took a lot of money that day getting bet down to 5:1 and Davis returns. There doesn’t seem to be any monsters in here and Baffert will take a lot of the money so we’ll get a decent price on him.

$ 10.00 WPS 5 Cost $ 30.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 4:

(1) PORTFOLIO COMPANY didn’t look settled for most of the race and put in a so so performance in the With Anticipation. I’m thinking Brown has worked that out and we’ll see a different colt today. The wide turns and small field should work out in his favor. We’ll take the 5:2 ML if they are offering.

$ 10.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 30.00

$ 7.00 Ex 1 w/ 3, 4 Cost $ 14.00

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 5:

Previous race experience will matter in this maiden claiming race. (2) Tommy Bee has the post position and should improve in this one. Manny should be aggressive early to find the rail and let this horse run his best late. (5) Blue Deja Vu is my top pick in here as I see Castellano finding the rail early and having the strongest horse late. (7) Great Britain will be closing strongly under Rosario and I like the horse that is running the fastest late. (9) Regal Empire has the pedigree and we know Saez will be aggressive early. I anticipate a big run late from this one.

$3.00 WPS 5 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 2,5 w/ 2,5,7,9 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 7,9 w/ 2,5,7,9 Cost: $6.00

Race 6:

(2) Dark Storm off the claim for Rudy Rodriguez is going to be a tough contender in here. We should anticipate a big run from this horse throughout and when this horse gets a faster track, he runs his best. (3) Two Thirty Five is going to be on the lead or right behind it and we trust Saez to find the best kick late. (6) Twisted Tom is getting a fast track in here and will be a decent price come post time. We should expect a forwardly placed horse that if left alone to set fractions will be a tough catch late. (7) American Dubai is also going to get a forwardly placed run in here and may just be too good against this field.

$3.00 WPS 2 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 2,6 w/ 2,3,6,7 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 3,7 w/ 2,3,6,7 Cost: $6.00

Race 7:

(2) Coworth Park is going to be lead to the rail early and have a late kick to fly down the stretch. I love the set up of this race and this horse should be rolling late. (6) Princess Fawzia is taking a big drop in class here and may be too good against this field. Linda Rice has a great clip at these claiming races and a must play IMO. (11) Gambling Cat should get a nice trip in here from the outside and that bullet workout coming in has me interested in where Saez places here. This horse will be strong throughout and I think the Saez bump could get it done.

$3.00 WPS 11 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex Box 2,6,11 Cost: $12.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 8:

Clement switches to Franco after the poor performance for (5) CALL ME LOVE. With little to no speed signed on, Manny probably will be aggressive early and set up camp on the lead. If the others fall asleep, she can take them all the way. She’ll not doubt need to hold off the late charge of (7) MY SISTER NAT. She’s the gorilla in the room as most will single this gal in several horizontals. Her only eye sore is that she doesn’t win an awful lot. This will be her easiest assignment and we’re expecting a big run.

$ 10.00 Ex 7 w/ 4, 5 Cost $ 20.00

Race 9:

All eye’s will be on (6) ECHO ZULU as this Gun Runner has dominated just like dad. This will be her stiffest test to date but she’s a must use to stay alive in this Pk3. I will try to beat her with a Tonalist and Uncle Mo.(3) SAUCY LADY T has placed 3rd in all three preps at the Spa leading up to this Frizette. Her last was against Echo but I think this gal wants more ground and she figures to have some speed up front to set her up. The maiden (2) A MO REAY came home strong 8 wide in her debut and almost got there. She will no doubt save some ground from post two and the 1M distance make her dangerous. Pletcher puts in a rabbit just outside the favorite to try and soften her up for Mo.

$ 7.00 WPS 2 Cost $ 21.00

$ 5.00 Ex 2, 6 w/ 2, 3, 6 Cost $ 20.00

Race 10:

Both favorites are dropping from graded races for this. (5) JUDGE N JURY laid down the gavel to his fellow NY Breds prior to the G1 Jerkens. The 6F looks right and Saez returns. A lot to like accept the price. (6) RIVER DOG needed some time off and came back a little dull in the Amsterdam. No Warriors in here though and I’m guess he gets back on track with the hot Davis jumping on. If these two go at it, (2) BRONX BOMBER will make a run at them for Rudy. He wants no part of 7F so the cutback here makes him dangerous. (8) BLUE GATOR gets Irad for the nightcap and also cuts back to a more favorable distance. L1 was added last time and that seemed to help. This Liam’s Map will sit off the two favs and come with his closing kick he displayed last year.

$ 7.00 WPS 8 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 5, 8 w/ 2, 5, 6, 8 Cost $ 18.00
