Race 7:

Little Pete:

I am all in on (11) Gretzky the Great and think Tyler will close extremely well on this stacked field. Will be wheeling this horse.

$5.00 WPS 11 Cost: $15.00

Big Pete:

I'm focusing on the Euro's. (12) GO ATHLETICO has two strong 7F runs so the 1M seems within reach. (2) NEW MANDATE has three in a row and gets Dettori. Has a win a this distance which always helps. (9) BATTLEGROUND comes here on a roll. Moore wins a lot of races over there. He can do it here too.

Race 8:

Little Pete:

I really like (2) Vequist in here with the Rosario aboard. This horse is set up to have the late speed he excels at and expect a late run to take this one.

Big Pete:

I can't get past the two favorites here. (1) SIMPLY RAVISHING has done nothing wrong and seems to be improving. A scary thought. (7) PRINCESS NOOR is training lights out and will be a handful. The post will be the only issue.

Little Pete:

I expect Rosario to have a double in here aboard (4) Plum Ali who should be the favorite in here. This horse has proven to be a force and I expect more of the same.

Big Pete:

(5) AUNT PEARL just keeps on going. Not sure these fillies can catch her if she gets to the top of the stretch first. The Brown runner (14) EDITOR AT LARGE will need some speed up front to soften the blow of Aunt Pearl. If (11) ROYAL APPROVAL goes early, that bodes well for the Editor.

Little Pete:

I will be all in on the redemption story for (3) Reinvestment Risk. Irad is ready to go and this horse will not allow (7) Jackie's Warrior to have the lead here. I expect a winning effort.

Big Pete:

All eyes will be on (7) JACKIE'S WARRIOR as they should. I don't like him today because e go two turns vs one. He's never done that and I'm not sold that he can at this level. I like Brown's runner (3) REINVESTMENT RISK to turn the tables on him. He's bred to do it as is (5) ESSENTIAL QUALITY. He also has a win on this track and distance to boot. (7) KEEPMEINMIND finished right behind Essential and gets Jose. Can't pass up these big odds.
