We are transitioning to Gulfstream today with the rough weather conditions in NY. Stay Warm. I will be looking to take down the early double (Races 1-2) and a middle pick 3 (Races 6-8) . Race 3:
(1) MIGHTY TOUGH went wide last time against this level and still made up ground late. That ride may have prompted Hill to make the switch to Jaramillo. A lot of money will come in on the Brown runner Conglomerate but that’s not a good sign that Brown is giving up on this guy. A perfect time to bet against.

Race 9:
(7) HIGHEST HONORS took some time off and it paid off with a nice run to get 3rd against a tough group. Brown has him working well and looks the part today. He’ll have to catch (3) AMERICAN PRINCE. This Liam’s Map stretched out nicely when dominating NW1X last time. Moves up but is the potential lone speed. I’ll put him on top to take them all the way again. (5) OLYMPIAD will attract a lot of attention and rightfully so. I’ll use defensively but feel as though he is an underachiever.

Race 10:
There is speed signed on for this Sunshine Sprint. (7) LEGAL DEAL is one of them. He’s been consistent all year and the cutback to 6F might be what he wants. (5) GATSBY picks up Saez for this and is a threat to stalk and pounce. A must use for me. With other speeds entered, I landed (2) PUDDING to be a factor late. He’ll sit just behind and will wait for Castellano’s signal. He’s 1st or 2nd 50% of the time.

Race 11:
I like the American Pharoah (11) SIMMS trying the turf for this first time. He showed speed on the synthetic and I’m guessing Casse will instruct Gonzalez to do the same. If they can save some ground early, they may prove tough to run down. (3) DREAM OF A DAY likes to finish 2nd. Leparoux returns after a fast closing 2nd in his last. I’m expecting the same again. (4) TALLAHATCHIEBRIDGE is a firster from Joseph with decent works for his debut. (6) GRAND DAVID is the other speed and he too tries turf. Adds L1 for this and gets Paco to sub in.
