We are closing in on the weekend, which means we are back to racing at Gulfstream. We have found a liking to the two pick 3 plays we have been doing and going to look to take down both of them today. We have some perfect weather in south Florida and we cannot wait to watch from inside! GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's Spot $0.50 Pick 3:

R7: 1, 5, 10, 11

R8: 1, 5, 7, 8

R9: 2, 3, 6

Cost: $24.00

Big Pete's Late $0.50 Pick 3:

R9: 2, 6, 10

R10: 3, 5

R11: 6, 7, 9, 10, 11

Cost: $15.00

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 7:

I looked at the three races and this is going to be a tough one to construct to make affordable. We have ourselves some competitive fields throughout and some big fields; should be fun. In the first leg, I am going to spread a little bit in this unproven group of horses. I will be going with two horses that are exiting the same race in (5) Heir Ball and (10) Trixie's Time. I think these horses are exiting a key race and should be ready to roll in this one. The (1) Midnight Miracle has ran some speedy races on dirt and I think will translate well to the move to grass. I will also include a price horse with the apprentice Christian Torres aboard in the (11) Answer My Call and hoping this horse wakes up with this class drop and weight relief.

$1.00 Ex Box 1,5,10,11 Cost: $12.00

Race 8:

I also landed on a four horse field here, and believe that this race will be a toss up. I like the inside horse of (1) Gilda F who has been consistent at this field and distance, and looks to be ascending at this moment. (5) Four K's is coming off a long layoff and should have the class to beat this field, hoping this horse doesn't need a tune up race. Then I will include the top two morning line horses who should have a good battle this one in the (7) Memorize and (8) Worth Avenue.

$1.00 Ex Box 1,5,7,8 Cost: $12.00

Race 9:

To make this an affordable ticket I will only be choosing three horses from this field, but could make a case for more than that. I anticipate a redemption race out of the favorite, (3) Bean Counter, who lost to (8) Big Tina last time out with a hell of a race; can (8) Big Tina do it again? I am not betting on it. (6) Augusta Moon will be getting a firm track and that will help with this horse's late speed, so will be in my top three. My last play will be with Irad aboard the (2) Lido Key who is traveling Florida to get this W.

$2.00 Ex Box 2,3,6 Cost: $12.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 9:

Saez jumps off the Pletcher runner and lands on (6) AUGUSTA MOON. These fillies don’t seem to win a lot of races so we’ll put our trust in the Jock. Zayas gives the Scat Daddy filly (10) MIKE’S GIRL a try. She’s been within a few lengths of hitting the wire first in her last 7 starts and sports a quick breeze the other day. (2) LIDO KEY comes in from Tampa and attracts Irad. We’ll include as well.

$3.00 Ex Box 2,6,10 Cost: $18.00

Race 10:

(5) FLORA FANTASY will be on everyone’s ticket, including mine. Her last two will beat these today. But returns to the same level off the claim. I’ll try to beat her with (3) ROYAL MEGHAN. Ran into a sharp Cory Gal last time when she faced winners for the first time. Beat them all but Cory and also has a quick breeze last week. She may forget to stop today. We’ll only use these two.

$7.00 WPS 3 Cost: $21.00

$5.00 Ex Box 3,5 Cost: $10.00

Race 11:

We’ll spread out in the finale as I’ll lean on a few firsters and a few that are dropping. The one that stands out to me is (10) CHAMPERS. This Cairo Prince ships in and Hess has been hitting the board often. But, we are dealing with MCL runners so anything can happen. Both Kitten Joy’s, (6) KITTEN’S CLOWN and (9) KOKO STAR are trained by Maker and win early pedigrees.

$7.00 WPS 10 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex Box 6,9,10 Cost: $18.00
