Another Friday means another day of picking some winners down in south Florida. The forecast looks good and we do not anticipate any rain on this card. We are going to continue with the two PK3 plays that we have been doing and also including vertical plays in each of those races. We got washed off some of the turf races yesterday, so very happy to hear the forecast this morning looks good. Race 7:
This race is going to be wide open and I am going to spread a bit. (7) Shanghai Moon will be tough to beat here getting back to dirt at this distance, so will include. (3) Awesome Party has all the right connections with Ortiz Jr./Pletcher, so also will include. I think that the move to dirt for (5) Still Schemin will be flawless and this horse is a strong contender in this one. The more I look at the race the further I get from having a favorite here. With that said I am also going to throw in these three horses just for almost full coverage: (1) Chasing The Candy, (2) Uyeda, and (4) NeverStopDreaming.

Race 8:
This is a three horse race for me with my top selection being (4) High Noon Rider who beat (1) Dalarna last time out with a great performance, and I expect more of the same. Will also be including (1) Dalarna as he could have revenge on the brain and looking to get back to the consistent winning ways at this level. (2) FlowMotion lost to (1) Dalarna three back and then won the next two. Could have put it together and runs a big one today.

Race 9:
(1) Snap Hook looks to be much the best here and if it weren't the last leg of the ticket I would single. I just don't want to make it this far and have all my investment on one horses. No offense to (1) Red Hook, but I will include ONE more horse that I will play in case of a fast pace and a closer sneaks up to take. (7) Beast Mode should be in a good stalking position throughout this one and will have a kick late to possibly win this one. I will leave it at these two horses for the ticket.

Race 9:
(7) BEAST MODE’s best races have come at the longer distances. This 1M NW3L should fit nicely. Now he picks up Zayas for the ride and should be a handful today. (1) SNAP HOOK will be the favorite as he continues to drop and picks up Gaff. We’ll use because he looks good on paper but, something is wrong with him and the connections want out. (5) QUALITY SPECIAL ran good enough to beat these two and three races back. Then tried better and that didn’t work. Now moves back in to the correct level. Not a bad price at 6:1.

Race 10:
I like the Harlan’s Holiday influence on the turf or dirt so (10) SONG RIVER can do it on either surface. Gaff shows up here and will likely go and try to bottom out this field. (4) PROSPECTIVE DIVA may be the threat late. Won easy in an off the turf event in Jan and now drops to that same level here. Won’t get the 10:1 ML, but must use. (3) ALL ABOUT STELLA will be closing as well. If she doesn’t mind the dirt kick back, she will be a contender.

Race 11:
Irad hasn’t missed a beat and continues to rack up wins. He sticks around for the nightcap on (1) REITERATE and will try the turf again after a failed attempt. We’ll use but I’m leaning towards the outside, more turf oriented runner, (11) QUEEN FIELD. Has been facing better so the drop should toughen her up. Zayas gets the call. (2) BEASAICHI has been bouncing around barns lately and will eventually get to the winners circle. Maybe today is the day.
