Saturday racing at Gulfstream today with a 12 race card. We are going to continue to look to take down the late PK4. We hope that everyone remains safe out there and can enjoy the small distraction with these races! GOOD LUCK..

Big Pete:
It’s been a while since (3) PERUVIAN BOY has gotten his picture taken but finally takes the necessary drop to help his cause. Slight bobble last time may have been the result of the 2nd place finish, but looks ready against this suspect bunch. (5) INTER MIAMI also drops and will likely go off the fav. We’ll use both to start this late Pk4.

This is a nice race to start off the PK4 and think we may be able to catch a price here if we can spread ourselves here. I really like (3) Peruvian Boy in this one who I anticipate improvement from this three year old and from his past performances he looks to be trending in the right direction. (1) Mobeatyabad is coming off a 13 length win at this distance and if he is able to get to the front with Gaffalione, then he will be tough to beat. (5) Inter Miami has his two career wins at this distance and is a must play here. (6) Silvery Enough will be in a good stalking position throughout and should have enough left in the tank to compete for this one.

I’ll go three deep in this competitive grass event. (3) FIRST PREMIO comes off a vacation after flying home against G1 company. Has found an easy spot to get his 2020 campaign going. (11) HALLADAY has speed to control this up front and connections are 2nd to none here. Will try to steal it. (5) MAI TY ONE ON is the value play. Has been 1st or 2nd in half his outings and will try to stretch to the 1M distance.

I am going to trust (3) First Premio in this one who is taking a significant class drop and has performed well against much better. I am putting my foot down and playing other horses to hit the board behind to hit the exacta. (2) Kroy would be my second pick here as he has shown the ability, but the long layoff makes me think he needs a race under his belt. (5) Mai Ty Thank You will benefit from the stretch out and will be charging late. (8) Class and Cash may look to get to the lead early and wire the field, so will include for second. (11) Halladay is a good horse and has the connections, so will include. (9) Penalty is coming off a triple beyer speed win at this distance and I want to ride the hot horse (for second).

After Candy Machines effort yesterday, I’ll lean heavy on (3) I’LL FIGHT DEMPSEY to come back with another strong showing. His last looks faster than these and I would expect some improvement as well. Possible single for me. I’ll let LP sort the rest out on our sequence.

(3) I'll Fight Dempsey is a must play on the ticket, but I think we should include some others in this field against this inexperienced horse. (1) Tomcat Black has a hot jockey aboard and coming off a nice mile win. He has shown the ability to close well on dirt and has been trending in the right direction and is a play here for me. (4) Sonneman has raced against better, but I am unsure on how he will perform after the extended layoff; will play for second. (7) Masterday is cutting back in distance and I anticipate a different ride from him this time out. I think he will be very quick out of the gate and be a tough opponent throughout this one. (8) Acre is another horse coming off an extended layoff and the workouts look good leading in. Depending on the price is whether we include this horse or not..

May have to spread here as many have shown signs of winning, but never come through. Someone has to win so why not (12) PAINT THE CORNER. She probably wins her last race if she wasn’t forced to take up at the wire. If can save ground throughout the race, she will be tough. Rosario sticks around on (4) SWEET STORY for this nightcap, so he must think he has a shot. I’ll include and also use (7) YAKO who won at this level last time before Dq’d for bothering Paint The Corner.

This pretty evenly matched race on grass is going to have some energy to close the card here. I am going to trust jockeys in this one and going to through a bunch of them in to win it. (4) Sweet Story loves to close well down the stretch and Rosario is a great jockey aboard a closer. (5) Isadorable Aida also likes to close well on the stretch drive and do not want to lose to this one. (8) Avenida Manana is the most likely winner with Saez aboard and looking for fourth in a row at this level and distance. (9) Trilby has Gaffalione choosing to ride this horse and that means a lot to me, so will be a play. (11) Night Watch will be my last play as this horse is coming off a win and I expect continued success.
