We have ourselves some Thursday racing in South Florida and we are looking to take down the late PK4. Luis Saez has been on an absolute tear with Irad Ortiz taking precautionary actions and not racing at this time. I expect more of the same from him out there on the track and he could have another outstanding showing. GOOD LUCK..

Big Pete:
(4) HARTLING will attract some attention with her speed and the presence of Saez. But her times don’t look that fast to me. I’m leaning towards the rail filly (1) RICHIES GREAT GIRL. Both turf tries were good enough to win against this bunch. Victor is back aboard to get revenge on his stumble two back.

I trust in Saez here with (4) Hartling to get this horse her fifth win in a row. We have four horses exiting the same race last time out, and the only horse out of that bunch is jumping out to me is (9) La Rusia. This horse likes to get to the early lead and try and wire the field, and I like how this race shapes out for that to be a winning move. I also believe we should include (6) Dienda who hadn't shown much ability on dirt and came out and performed very well first time out on grass. The workouts on grass look great as well, and I think is a strong play here with Rosario. I am hoping we get a nice price here to kick off our PK4 and ride the momentum to cashing it!

(7) ENVOUTANTE will be a short price and a must play. This Uncle Mo just needs a clean break and Davis will just need to hold on. Maybe a single for your bankroll. I’ll use (1) TOKEN incase they leave Rosario alone up front as there’s not a lot of speed signed on. (6) ASSUME is Pletcher and we are at Gulfstream.

This is going to be the race where I commit to a horse even though none of these horses has won a race yet. (7) Envoutante has closed well in each of his career races and I am thinking stretching out a bit more will be a winning move for this horse. I am going to single this horse with some other players underneath to hit the exacta.

(4) DIXIEINCANDYLAND ran big against winners last time. Had some trouble as well, so Kenneally opts for Rosario. Has hit the board in all 4 turf tries and seems ready to go. (3) MISS BEHAVE needed her last off the layoff and didn’t have the best trip. Look for Davis to make a late run at a price..

(4) DixieInCandyLand will be my top selection in this one, who should benefit from an early battle of speed and have enough left to pass tiring horses down the stretch. I am feeling good about this one, because typically in racing it always goes how I picture it in my head. I will include (1) Smack for a little coverage, as this horse will get a lot of play and looks to be the horse to beat (Which I think he will).

Your eye is drawn to (5) PRICING EXERCISE and Chad Brown. Didn’t cooperate in his debut, but I’m thinking Brown made the adjustments. Hard to leave off the ticket. (3) LIMETINI gets Saez for his debut so that alone puts him in the conversation. (10) CARDIAC KID almost pulled it off two back on the turf and took a lot of money. This American Pharoah can take it all.

We have ourselves a big field in this maiden special weight that I think we will need to spread a little bit with. I really like (10) Cardiac Kid in this race and anticipate the son of American Pharoah to come down from the morning line 8/1. I will include the Chad Brown horse, (5) Pricing Exercise, just because I do not want to lose to him in this one. (6) Battalion is a strong play here with Gaffalione aboard, so I will include. (7) Bear Alley is exiting a great race and could get to the winner's circle on grass here. If I lose to another horse then the four I stated, then hats off to them.
