Hope everyone is feeling alright and is learning how to deal with the new normal. We are keying in on the races at Gulfstream, and going to make a play on a PK3 for races 6, 7, and 8. We are still very lucky to have live racing these days as this gives some good news in the uncertain future. Let's jump right in and take down this pool.. GOOD LUCK.
Petes' $1.00 Spot Pick 3:

Big Pete:
(4) PAULA ANDREA has recently shown a liking to the turf. Two back, she got bumped around and her last race may have been operator error as she switches to Saez. Sano is all business today. Your likely winner here. (1) CAT’S ASTRAY will make the fav work for it but likes to run 2nd. I’ll use (3) TRIXIE’S TIME underneath to offer some value.

This is a two horse race for me with (1) Cat's Astray and (4) Paula Andrea. I think that this race is going to be won by speed and the horse that gets to the early lead here will be tough to beat. I am choosing these two horses to get there and not looking back.

Race 7:
Big Pete:
(6) BLUE BUFF has yet to lose on the dirt. This Unbridled’s Song looks awfully tough to beat here so I’ll lean heavy on him. Castellano only helps the cause. I’ll look for both (1) IL FARAONE and (3) YES I SEE to come running late to fill in the exacta.

I am looking for a closer in this race and it will be tough to out run (6) Blue Buff late. I think that (3) Yes I See and (4) Gray Beau will be strong contenders late, but tough to put either one of them above (6) Blue Buff. I am thinking this horse is a pretty good candidate for a single.

Race 8:
Big Pete:
We’ll let Little Pete try to sort this race out as I see as many as six runners with a shot. If the price stays at 9:2 with (9) ELITE APPEAL, I’ll play this one across the board as Paco is on some kind of roll. (8) TOO MUCH WAR looks slower than these but Saez gets back aboard. That is a good sign.

My top selection in this one is going to be Paco on grass with (9) Elite Appeal. I am seeing this horse being in good form and will continue to progress; which could be what is needed to win this one. I am thinking we should spread pretty well in this one. (1) Jost Sayin is also looking to be in good form and is a good closer in this one. (7) Karenina has placed the last three times out at this level, and they always say fourth times a charm? (8) Too Much War does not jump off the paper to me in the PPs, but the winning connections of Saez/Gargan make this horse a play for me.
