2yr old State Breds take center stage with the Stallion Series and sandwiched between them is the Alex M Robb. Most likely a wet track but we might see the sun on this last Saturday before the Christmas break. We have 10 to tackle so let's get to it. I will be condensing my plays down to just the number and attacking a spot pick 3 (Races 5-7). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 8-10). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $2.00 Spot Pick 3:

R5: 2, 6, 7

R6: 3

R7: 1, 2, 3, 4

Cost: $24.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R8: 3, 5, 6

R9: 1, 2, 4, 8

R10: 1, 4, 5, 9

Cost: $ 48.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

All eyes will be on Let Her Inspire U as they should be. She's been on a roll but I think she faces a group that will make her earn it. There is plenty of speed even though we only have six entered. Audry will likely want and get the lead so the favorite will have to come off the pace which she doesn't like to do. I have to take a shot with the turf runner (1) SPUNGIE. This Hard Spun won't mind the mud/slop and figures to get a perfect set up. Franci can bide his time on the rail and tip out turning for home. She is in top form and the 1M is what she wants.

(5) VENTI VALENTINE or (6) LET HER INSPIRE U to fill in the exacta for me.

$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 1, 5, 6 Cost $ 18.00

We’ll also use (1) SPUNGIE in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

(3) Mia Bea Star scratched to run in this one and (8) Saint Eros Girl is fresh off the claim and ships in. One of them should make it interesting late in the 4th.

$ 7.00 Double 1 w/ 3, 8 Cost $ 14.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 8:

I’m not a fan of the favorite, Dr Blute so I will try to kick off this late Pk3 without him. (6) SEA FOAM is the work horse in this group. He keeps plugging away at seven and runs a big one every so often. The moisture in the track helps so I have to include. (5) BARESE is in great form and just missed against open company. He's usually tough in these NY Bred events and is the horse to beat IMO. I want the Munnings colt, (3) PERFECT MUNNINGS. He was winning against good 3yr olds last year and had to go to the shelf. Pletcher took his time and he appears to have him back with three decent efforts this year. This likely is the race they have been pointing to and the off track will be a bonus. All systems go today.

$ 7.00 WPS 3 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 3, 5, 6 Cost $ 18.00

Race 9:

(1) JACKSON HEIGHTS is the colt to beat but Noda is struggling right now. We'll use defensively and look elsewhere. I like the maiden, (2) BUSTINO SANTINO a little bit with this group. He took some money and didn't run that bad after a bumpy start. The extra furlong will help and Davis fills in. I can't resist the price in here and landed on the Central Banker colt (4) GENERAL BANKER. Yes, he has had many chances but he is a new animal since they added blinkers. A 2nd on the turf goiing long and then a solid speed figure going short last time. The 7F and wet conditions should have this guy primed for a big effort. The saver will be (8) LIFETIME OF CHANCE as he did everything right but win last time. He'll get the jump on the stalkers/closers.

$ 7.00 WPS 4 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 2, 4 w/ 1, 2, 4, 8 Cost $ 18.00

Race 10:

Rudy has a pair and they both look tough. I prefer (1) HOT ROD LINCOLN as that one had some trouble and still managed to finish right behind his stable mate (1A) M.C. DOUBLE R. (4) JOYFUL GHOST tried grass first out but sprintng on the dirt should be his thing. His dad was a freak in the mud. (5) SARATOGA BANKER is yet another Central Banker on the card. If he can get back to his debut where he closed well, he has a shot. I'll use the outside runner (9) SOMAMA BEACH as a savor. He dropped and showed speed last time and he has to go to the front again. There isn't much behind him so he might just get brave and take them all the way around.

$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 1, 4 w/ 1, 4, 5, 9 Cost $ 18.00
