10 races on this 4th of July holiday card at beautiful Belmont Park. I will be condensing my plays down to just the number and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 5-7). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 8-10). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 3:
(1A) SY DOG gets L1 for his 2023 debut and Motion figures to have him ready to start his campaign this year. He probably wants more ground but his stable mate should provide a decent pace to mount his late charge. They will be short odds but both look the part. We'll try to get the "other" Brown underneath for some value. I'll also include St Anthony as Johnny V takes the reigns.
(2) St Anthony and (6) Portfolio Company underneath.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 8:
(8) AWESOME INDRA will have to deal with a few speeds in here today but the outside draw should help. Carmouche can sit just off and get first jump on the closers. She likes Big Sandy so the rest will have to come and get her late. (1) DIVA BANKER and stablemate (1A) HAPPY SOPHIA are two of the closers that can fire at any time. They figure to get a hot pace that they need. The other closer is (7) CUSTOMEREXPERIENCE. She drops slightly off the claim and cuts back. She has speed figures that match up well with this group and Atras can get her back there.

Race 9:
(1) ORTUS and (7) KREESA have simialr running styles where the race mid pack and come with there run. Which ever can work out the best trip will finish ahead of the other. (9) KING MOONRACER doesn't win often but usually puts in a solid effort. Weaver's been hot and Prat takes the call which makes this gelding a little interesting today. I landed on (3) BE OF COURAGE for Maker. Both times Castellano has been up were his best efforts. The slight cut back is just what this Noble Mission wants and he looks to be back in top form. All in.

Race 10:
(8) PEGS A. K. GIRL wired the field last time and picks up Castellano to do it again, This Animal Kingdom shouldn't have trouble with the 10F and the group lacks speed to help her cause. (1) OLKOVSKHA is the unknown shipping in. Motion is having a meet so I'm on board that she is ready and willing today. I'll take th maiden winner (5) HIGHLAND GRACE to get the Re-Pete here. She took a lot of money last time and didn't break a sweat. Belmonts wide turns fits her grinding style and she will be coming again late.
