The Friday before Saturday's Belmont Stakes and we have a loaded day of Stake races on this 11 race card day. I will be condensing my plays to just the number and will be taking down the early double (Races 1-2) and a middle pick 3 (Races 6-8) . Big Pete will have his full breakdown on his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 9-11). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 4:
The speed figures in the last two races for (4) RYAN’S CAT are more like it for this speed ball from 2021. He may be getting his swagger back after a long absence last year. With Montauk Daddy and Prisoner going at it, his new stalking style should set him up perfectly to mount a late charge. Back to back bullets in the AM is a good sign he’ll be on his toes today.
Both (1) Scilly Cat and (2) Prisoner look solid underneath.

We’ll also use Ryan’s Cat in R4 and try to cash in on a DAILY DOUBLE play.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 9:
Not much can be said about (3) JACKIE’S WARRIOR chances in this G2 True North. He clearly is faster then these and if he shows up…It’s over. This will lead to a somewhat chalky Pk3 but you can single and wager a little more. I will toss in (4) BABY YODA. He as learned to rate nicely off the speeds and come with a nice run. Jackie clearly needs to back up for Yoda to go by but there is other speeds entered to help Yoda’s cause..

Race 10:
(3) VIRGINIA JOY will go as fast as she can for as far as she can. That will be Brown’s instructions to Trevor. The goal will be to set up their new barn star (2) ROUGIR. Her Beaugay last month was a public workout for this G1. She looks like the real deal and is a must use. I’m a little interested in the Honor Code outsider (4) CORE VALUES. She wasn’t far from War Like Goddess and has shown some improvement from last year. She’ll be big odds and Rosario takes over the reigns. She should at least hit the board IMO. I can’t pass up this 15:1 ML

Race 11:
We will use a bunch in here to close it out as the first two legs are likely chalk. Cox drops (7) CARAVEL slightly and has speed to control the pace. (11) MISS MAJORETTE has yet to run a bad race. She was following (13) MISS J MCKAY through the lane in that swift License Fee last month. (12) NEVISIAN SUNRISE is the other speed from Brown and this girl might just forget to stop. I have a wise guy pick that I will play across the board. The cut back for (10) FLOWER POINT is who I’ll land. She switches back to Lezcano who has had some success with her. She likes to stalk and come late and the 6F should is the right distance for her to pack a punch late.
