Belmont at the Big A kicks off another week but we start earlier than usual. An eight race card on this Wednesday with 4 still on the grass. I will be condensing my plays down to just the numbers and attacking the early double starting in R2 (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 3-5). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 6-8). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

NW2L claimers sprint as Rice drops (2) SMILENSAYCHEESE to the right level as they look to unload and pick up a quick check in the process. He managed a decent 3rd against much better and now has their sights on this 31k purse. A nice business transaction and look for others to claim.

I’ll use (3) Dialbolico and (6) Dark Vector underneath for the exacta.

We’ll also use (2) Smilensaycheese in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 6:

Both Aqu tries for (3) HELEN'S REVENGE were against slightly better, but that was back at the beginning of the year. Rice brings her back at a lower level looking to unload. We'll use defensively. Cox also has a layoff runner, (8) TAKE ME TO LONDYN, that is dropping and adding L1. If she's 100%, she'll be tough against these. But the layoff is scary. I'll try the Vino Rosso filly cutting back to a 6.5F sprint. (6) MARGAUX TREASURE has been going longer in all 8 starts, and the shorter distance here will heighten her closing kick just enough to catch the tiring front runners. Hopefully, Katie can time it right.

Race 7:

(1) MYTHICAL MAN was thought highly of last year, rattling off two straight turf wins, but then went to the bench and returned this year, getting beaten up against stakes competition. They put him where he belongs, and he is working well in the AM. (3) GEM MINT TEN has some fast works too and has also been facing better. The class relief should help. Brown has (8) RIGHT TO WIN in form and is the horse to beat. Cuts back today after just missing similar last time. (5) OUTTAWATERBURY gets the hot Johnny V again and cuts back slightly.

Race 8:

(2) JUST ONE MORE and (3) ON A SUMMER DAY exited the same race and weren't that far apart. One has the speed and the other comes late. Both are a must-use for me. (5) PRINCESS SUMMER has the highest speed figure of the bunch and picks up Prat. She's the filly to beat, but she's been labeled that in her last three races, yet she's still looking to break her maiden. I'll try to beat her with (7) SKY LOW LOW. They dropped her to this level last time, and she responded well. The bad break may have cost her that day. Look for her to be more forward early and then pick them up late turning for home.
