Belmont at the Big A is back and so is Pete's Picks. We have eight on this Thursday with no feature. I will be condensing my plays down to just the numbers and attacking the early double starting in R2 (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 3-5. Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 6-8). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

(2) SOHANA looks to be coming around with two races this year off a long absence. They drop her slightly as they kept her down state waiting for this. All systems go today.

I’ll use (4) Collect The Data and (6) Gone And Forgotten underneath for the exacta.

We’ll also use (2) Sohana in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 6:

(5) AMUNDSON has the speed to control. if they leave him alone, he could prove tough to catch. I'll use but focus in on (4) SHIPSATIONAL to come running late for the new barn. Cox picked him up at the Spa and runs him back for a quick score.

Race 7:

(4) TOUR JETE tried this level three back, but that was on the dirt. Now she gets back together with her NY Bred friends and could prove too tough for this bunch. (7) SNOWY EVENING cuts back and faces state-breds too. She has a race or two that stack up well with these. I want to take a shot with (6) BERNT AGAIN. She's been facing slightly better this year as she exits the Yaddo last time. Her run two back would make her a major player today, so the 12:1 ML is an easy choice to back.

Race 8:

(8) CARARRA is fresh off the claim and now ships in for Atras. Moving back to the dirt is probably the right move. (9) BEIRA stretches back out to a mile. She looks in great form and looks like the one to beat. (11) PURLION has a new barn as well as RIce ships this one in and cuts back slightly. They've been patient with her as she was training up North but waited until they got down state. I'm expecting a big run.
