Nine races on this football Sunday at Belmont at the Big A. No feature with three on the turf. I will be condensing my plays down to just the numbers and attacking the early double starting in R2 (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 4-6). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 7-9). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

R1: 6, 9

R2: 1, 3 Cost: $ 10.00

Little Pete's $ 3.00 Spot Pick 3:

R4: 4, 5

R5: 1, 3, 4, 11

R6: 3, 4 Cost: $ 16.00

Big Pete's $ 3.00 Late Pick 3:

R7: 3, 8, 9

R8: 4, 6, 7

R9: 6, 7, 9 Cost: $ 27.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

(4) LEADING ROLE takes a major drop and adds Santana. The move back to the dirt seems right as this guy will hustle away and try to wire them.

I’ll use (5) Seeker's Hope and (6) Freedom Maker underneath for the exacta.

We’ll also use (4) Leading Role in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

(4) Whiskey Decision and (5) Moonage Daydream in the 4th.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

(9) QUEEN ATLAS tried to wire them last time, and she will likely use that tactic today. If they leave her alone, she's gone. (8) BRYANT AND COOPER was getting on track too late. The third time out for this barn should put her right there, but this barn just wants to get rid of her, so we'll just use her to hit the board. (3) SILENT MELODY had that decent run two back when Prat was up then. They hook up again, and I'm expecting another run here.

Race 8:

(4) AMY'S LIGHT cuts back slightly and drops a little. I'll use (6) SPUN SIZE who has several races that make her competitive in here. If she finds her race two back, she's got it. (7) ALWAYS PRACTICAL breaks outside and can stalk down the backstretch. The cutback looms large in here.

Race 9:

(7) SPEAK SOFTLY shipped in last time but did not have the best of trips. They regroup and return here and look like a major player. (6) ROMAN GODDESS usually comes running late and there should be enough speed to make it interesting. (9) WHISTLER'S STYLE is the one to beat as she goes out for the third outfit in the last three races.
