We have 12 races on this Saturday at Belmont at the Big A. I will be condensing my plays down to just the number and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 7-9). Big Pete will attack two "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 10-12); GOOD LUCK.

Race 3:
Rice saw something in (1) SMILENSAYCHEESE up in Saratoga and claimed him and then put him on the shelf. They add L1 and has steady workouts leading up to first time Rice. He has a rabbit entered with him to make the pace heat up. Jose is back ad ready to make an impact with all the jockeys leaving NY.

Race 5:
I'll trust Pletcher as he switches (1) IRTIQAA to the turf and goes two turns. She's bred to eat up the grass and Saez can save the ground and muscle his way through turning for home.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 10:
(3) TWENTY TWO BLACK and (7) DOUBLE ACT have the connections to be special first time out. Both have some fast works and win early pedigree. I'll use but I like the Cox runner, (8) MY WORLD breaking from the outside stall today. He didn't look comfortable to me on the the rail last time and the experience should help his chances today. That was a decent group at the Spa and he managed to collect a check.

Race 11:
(3) RISK TOLERANCE has shown enough in two starts that he will be a stakes player down the road. It starts today as they draw the inside and figure to get a perfect trip. (5) IRISH GENT has been collecting checks and two turns were ok for him last time. (10) MAIN BEACH has to overcome that outside post but Rosario can do just that. (8) KING D'ORO ships north and should get a piece underneath.

Race 12:
(11) PEAK HYPE draws way outside and will need to overcome that. She likes to come from off the pace though so Santana's job is to find the hedge early and weave his way through the lane. The other Brown, (3) LAYERED, I like a little more. She draws inside and move her to the turf. She's built to go some distance so the two turns should help. (5) VICTORIOUSLY showed little speed but a late kick. She faces winners today. (1) OBEISSANTE has the inside draw and figures to save ground. She almost got there last time after a troubled trip and looks to rebound here.
