Nine races on this Friday with the Joseph A Gimme stakes as the feature. I will be condensing my plays down to just the numbers and attacking the early double starting in R2 (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 4-6). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 7-9). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $ 5.00 Early Double:

R1: 2

R2: 4, 8, 10 Cost: $ 10.00

Little Pete's $ 3.00 Spot Pick 3:

R4: 3, 5, 7, 8

R5: 1, 2, 3, 6

R6: 1, 3 Cost: $ 32.00

Big Pete's $ 3.00 Late Pick 3:

R7: 4, 7, 8

R8: 1, 6, 7

R9: 4, 9, 10 Cost: $ 27.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

Undisputed, Mo For The King and Hey Toby have speed and they will likely try to get to the front and wire these. With others speeds also signed on, I'm thinking the pace is contested and sets up a stalker/closer. That's why I'm leaning on (2) REFUAH to cash in on that today. He was claimed back in May and has hit the board in all three starts for his new barn. Sharp has him ready for a big effort today and he gets the set up up front to boot.

I’ll use (3) Undisputed and (5) Hey Toby underneath for the exacta.

$ 7.00 WPS 2 Cost $ 21.00

$ 7.00 Exacta 2 w/ 3, 5 Cost $ 14.00

We’ll also use (2) Refuah in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

(3) Counter Move and (5) Good Cop in the 4th.

$ 7.00 Daily Double 2 w/ 3, 5 Cost $ 14.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

(7) I'M KIDDING and (8) GEOPOLITICS both have speed and will likely try to clear off. If both go at it, the race sets up nicely for (4) INTENTIOUS to come and get them. If one of the speeds can get loose, they have a big advantage, so the start can play a big role in the outcome. I'm hoping everyone gets away clean, and Davis can then work out a trip so Intentious can reel them in late.

$ 7.00 WPS 4 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Exacta Box 4, 7, 8 Cost $ 18.00

Race 8:

(7) FUERTEVENTURA goes out for the first time for Maker, and he has speed. He can take them all the way if they let him settle up front. (1) OUTSOURCE almost got there when they stretched him out this far and should be coming again at the end. Saving ground is key with these three-turn marathons. (6) MAYOR OF MIDNIGHT figures to improve the 2nd time out against winners. There is some pace signed on inside, so he should get a nice setup for his late kick. I don't think he'll be that far back like his last try at this distance.

$ 7.00 WPS 6 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Exacta 1, 6 w/ 1, 6, 7, 9 Cost $ 18.00

Race 9:

(9) READY SET TWIRL has been hitting the board at this level, and now they cut him back to sprinting after two attempts going two turns. This is what he wants to do, so he figures to be a threat late. (10) NANO MAN has had several chances, but his last two look good enough against this group. The outside draw should keep him clear of traffic, and the 5.5F to 6F could make the difference in him getting there today. I can't get past Weaver in this finale with (4) INSUBORDINATION in this spot. Javier returns as they also cut this colt back to 6F. His Quick Call behind Sam would win this finale if he repeats that effort. The subtle drop is just what he needed.

$ 7.00 WPS 4 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Exacta Box 4, 9, 10 Cost $ 18.00
