Friday racing in NY and we have a nice 9 race card to prep us for the weekend racing. I will be condensing my plays to only include the number, and look to take down the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 4-6). Big Pete will be locked in to taking down a couple of his "Plays of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 7-9). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 3:
Know It All Audrey drops sharply and will take some money. The others have been running in these NW2L races with no luck. I'll try the new shooter fresh off her maiden win.. (3) WICKED LADY was claimed by Weaver after beating up 25k MCL at the Spa. I don't see this as a jump in class as she faces 16k today. A Re-Pete of that maiden win should be enough against this bunch.
(5) Clara Belle and (7) Know It All Audrey look the best of the rest.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 4:
I tried to find another filly in here to take a shot with but came up empty. (4) EXPAND THE MAP stands out against this bunch and is a must use. She's bred top and bottom for the grass and now cuts back to a sprint. She can stalk or go so the break willl decide that. I am looking to get a little creative with two runners underneath. (5) Yamas and (7) Adam's Angel both will likely sit back and let the speeds go at it early. The one that finds the holes and/or saves the ground, will come late to juice up the exacta.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 7:
With the scratch of BLUE JAYS, the race opens up a little (3) DUST DEVIL will look to get back on track with Irad taking the mount. Noda is hot and cold during meets and I’m guessing he’ll grab a few early in this meet. If anything, Dust Devil has been consistent and has been keeping good company. He has races in his pp’s that would dominate this group if he can resurrect them. (4) VINTAGE HOLLYWOOD will show up once in a while. He drops slightly and most times, that’s all it takes. The switch to Rosario is very playable now and if this 6:1 ML holds, I can’t resist against this bunch. (8) SCILLY CAY has fallen off latetly so Brown gave him a short rest. They change tactics and go longer today but it's still only one turn. He'll be coming at them late.

Race 8:
Castellano is in a groove and he rides (5) SOCIAL WHIRL in this state bred sprint. She was dominating these last year and then went on the shelf. She came back in May and had a difficult trip. She rebounded next time out but found 7F to be a bit too far. Her swag is back and looks primed for a big effort. I’m all in today. (4) TOWERING ORBIT tried turf last time and I think she liked it. She normally shows speed but the break cost her early position. Jose takes the call and she’ll be a threat late. (9) KOKOPELLI needed her last off the year absence but looked good before tiring late. She gets Irad and is probably the filly to beat. (6) FONTANAFREDDA continues to improve and just missed against these gals last time

Race 9:
Cheap claimers to end the sequence and the two speeds will likely control the betting. (5) STREET CULTURE tried better last time and now drops off a cliff. That is very suspicious but has the highest speed figure of the bunch. (6) BEZOS has also shown speed but has stamina issues. This is the lowest he’s been and sometimes that gives a horse confidence. I’m a gluten for punishment and will go with the 1 for 21 gelding (2) MATTY’S MARAUDER. However, he’s 5 for 7 this year hitting the board and he gets a little more ground to close in to. With Jose sticking around for the nightcap, Donk must have this guy ready to perform. I can’t refuse the 6:1 odds despite is record. (1) MACH ONE attracts Davis but has been facing cheap animals. Should hit the board though.
