Breeders Cup Saturday at Belmont at the Big A. I will be condensing my plays down to just the number and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 5-7). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 8-10). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $ 5.00 Early Double:

R1: 2, 5

R2: 2, 5 Cost: $ 20.00

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R5: 5, 10, 11

R6: 2, 4, 8

R7: 1, 4, 7, 8 Cost: $ 36.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R8: 3, 6, 7, 9

R9: 3, 4, 7

R10: 1, 3, 10 Cost: $ 36.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

(6) WHERE'S YOUR BOOM was faster than some of these in that Oct 25th work and Santana should be sitting on a day with the jockeys out of town. A bullet earlier in the month shows he has some zip and Ortiz is hitting the board 50% so far this meet.

I’ll use (3) Wit Storm and (7) Life Is Gravy to work out the exacta.

$ 7.00 WPS 6 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 3, 6, 7 Cost $ 18.00

We’ll also use (6) Where's The Boom in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

(1) Tough Guy Tony or (7) Day One Starter in the 4th.

$ 7.00 Daily Double 6 w/ 1, 7 Cost $ 14.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 5:

(10) BASHFUL BABY has two solid runs and just missed in her last. She is slow at the gate which is becoming a problem but third time seems to be the charm as she is positioned outside to avoid any inside trouble and then mow them down late.

I’ll use (5) South Philly Slide and (11) Copper Caduceus to work out the exacta.

$ 7.00 WPS 10 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 5, 10, 11 Cost $ 18.00

We’ll also use (10) Bashful Baby in R5 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

(2) Life And Times or (4) Time To Win in the 6th.

$ 7.00 Daily Double 10 w/ 2, 4 Cost $ 14.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 8:

(4) RANGER BATTALION has been doing well in the Rice barn since May. He looks solid today. I can't ignore (7) TIMAEUS who has picked it up in his last two. He then followed that up with two big bullets in the AM. If he can run that same race today, he wins again against these. (3) SHATTUCK is cutting back and goes 2nd time for Sharp. A rough start gave this gelding too much to do last time. A clean break and he probably catches them. I'll try (9) UNCLE JIM as he too is improving in a new barn. 3rd time out for De Paz and positioned well outside to stay clear of trouble.

$ 7.00 WPS 7 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 7, 9 w/ 3, 6, 7, 9 Cost $ 18.00

Race 9:

(3) OUTLAW KID will likely go off as the favorite with two strong efforts against better. Weaver and Santana are winning right now, and they seem well spotted today. (7) DANCING BUCK was moving well up front in his last two and will try to steal this one too. He was faster than these last year, but we haven't seen those numbers yet this year. They may be in there somewhere. (4) FIERCE AND STRONG ships in with a lot of wins. She's the sleeper.

$ 7.00 WPS 3 Cost $ 21.00

$ 5.00 Ex 3, 4 w/ 3, 4, 7 Cost $ 20.00

Race 10:

We end the day at Aqueduct on the turf going 1M and then turn our attention to Del Mar. Mott sends out two, but most will focus on (10) CAPITAL HILL to mount a late charge as he drops slightly for easier competition. Brown should have (1) FAVORABLE SCENARIO ready for a big effort. They moved him to the grass and he improves every time out. He has the highest speed figure of this bunch and will save ground most of the way. The sleeper is (3) BRIT'S WIT. All three turf efforts this year stack up well with these, and Katie will keep this contender under the radar for a price.

$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 1, 3, 10 Cost $ 18.00
