We are coming in on a 6 race hit streak and obviously letting it get to our heads. We will be continuing with our pick 3 plays which has me looking at races 5-7, and Big Pete has races 8-10. They are projecting rain around 3 pm, so will have to pay attention to that and consider going in to this one. If you have any insights that we may not have touched on, then please reach out to us on Twitter (@PetesPicks1) and we can discuss. Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 5:

With the scratch of (5) Eye Luv Lulu this opens the race up a bit for me. The top selection in this one for me is going to be the class dropping (7) Seanow who should be shooting right to the front with the speed rider in Carmouche and has a good chance of wiring. I also like Irad aboard the (6) Spokane Eagle who also has shown speed, but a little more tactical and I think that plays in to Irads aggressive riding. He will be able to choose the spot this horse is set up around the turn and have a second gear when he asks for it. (3) Topper T with a class drop in this one as well and I think this horse is training well enough to be a late contender in this one and will include. I also want to include (4) Aristocratic in this one because I think that this horse has enough ability to get this one done. What I am hoping is that Cancel doesn't shoot right to the lead, but sits 2 or 3 back. I think if he is patient with this horse up front then he could have a say as to who wins this one.

$3.00 WPS 7 Cost: $9.00

$1.00 Ex Box 3,4,6,7 Cost: $12.00

Race 6:

We have a very competitive race here of three year olds and I actually landed on three of them. I have to include (7) Spice is Nice who gets the nod from Johnnie V to ride this horse rather then him jumping back aboard the (5) Say Moi. I think the class relief and the outside post will allow (7) Spice is Nice to have a very easy way to the front and will show some class down the stretch. I also want to include Johnnie V's second choice, (5) Say Moi, because what if he was wrong? This horse will love the stretch out and could set this race up for a great stretch drive. I want to include one more horse in case those two I mention battle it out up front and expose themselves to a late charging horse. I landed on the inside post with (1) Overjoyed who made the move to the east coast and has been training very well. I think that this inside post will allow the horse to have a great spot right from the break and be able to sustain a much better run this time around and have a chance to close on the two mentioned above.

$3.00 Ex 5,7 w/ 1,5,7 Cost: $12.00

$2.00 Ex 1 w/ 5,7 Cost: $4.00

Race 7:

(13) Vivazano is moving to grass and has continued training consistently after her debut on 6/12/20; where she made herself known. I think that this horse should take another step up and will be a very tough beat in this one. (11) Fractorzation also has been training consistently and well, and I think that this horse is putting the pieces together and finding her footing on the race course. Plus, Jose is red hot right now and tough to leave any horse he is on off your ticket. I really want to leave (12) Snicket off the ticket, but can't get myself to do it. We should expect improvement with this being the second time out for this horse on grass and it has Rosario/Clement connections; I cannot lose to them on the final leg. My last play is going to be the firster (3) Lemoncella who should have a good showing first time out on grass being the daughter of Lemon Drop Kid. This horse has been consistently training well in Kentucky and being shipped to NY to race in a MSW gives me high hopes as to what they expect from this horse.

$3.00 WPS 13 Cost: $9.00

$1.00 Ex Box 3,11,12,13 Cost: $12.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 8:

(5) BOURBON BAY has been facing much better NY Breds and now drops in against NW1X State breds. His last race was one of his best runs. He came in 7th, but was only 3.5 lengths behind. The extra furlong will help and Lezcano returns. (3) SIX PERCENT makes his 2020 debut sporting some decent works. Castellano joins him as Javier is riding well these days. Looking for both to come late for the money. Rudy sends out a pair and both appear to be the speed. This may be a huge advantage for (2) YANKEE DIVISION. If allowed to lope along early, Saez may be tough to catch.

$7.00 WPS 5 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 3,5 w/ 1,2,3,5 Cost: $18.00

Race 9:

(8) DALIKA made it look easy last time as she coasted across the wire against Mentality who returned to win. Sprinting looks like her game and there is plenty of speed to set her up. She will be coming hard late. (4) I’LLHANDLETHECASH is the main danger as she most likely would have won if she didn’t have to take up late. The major attraction for her will be the addition of Jose. He’s caught fire lately and will get first jump the favorite. Saez will try to nurse (7) MISS AURAMET along but, other speeds may cause an issue. I’ll focus on the top two to get it done.

$7.00 WPS 4 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 4,8 w/ 4,7,8 Cost: $12.00

Race 10:

(9) ADIOS AMIGOS took a lot of money last time and ran big to get 2nd. Now he returns to the turf and Javier sticks around for the re-ride. All systems go. (6) SHANDIAN is the one that interest me. With the Far Out East influence, he should be sprinting on the turf. Almost got there last time and now gets Davis up who has been riding well as of late. (8) LORCAN is a price that I want to include. His best race came here sprinting on the lawn in October. He will be coming late with (7) OUR TROUBADOUR to spice up the exacta.

$3.00 Ex 6,9 w/ 6,7,8,9 Cost: $18.00
