Belmont 6/3 Pick 3 Plays

We are looking to take a pair of pick 3 plays down today at Belmont that covers the pick 6 sequence. I will be focused on races 4-6 and Big Pete will close the card on races 7-9. We also will have our "Play of the Day" on a race we would like to include so we can have close to the whole card covered. GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

(1) Wudda U Think Now will likely stalk the leaders and pass tiring horses through the stretch. There figures to be some blistering fractions in here and this horse is coming in with good form. This horse should be able to find a nice rail position early and I think that makes the difference late against this good field.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 1:

There is a lot to like about (6) FINANCIALSTABILITY that I can’t ignore. He’s been facing better for most of his career. He tried this level last time and something seemed off. However, Rudy saw something and claimed him out of that race for Dubb. Now they reach out to Saez and cut back slightly to his best distance. I don’t think we’ll get the 10:1 ML but even half of that will be worth it. He figures to get some speed up front and he’s proven he can come and get them late

Both (3) Dark Money and (5) Runaway Lute are the main danger, so we’ll use them underneath.

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 4:

Ward is on some kind of roll with these turf sprint races. Today is no different. (10) Sheriff Bianco is in town and this Speighster looks fast. I like the Perfect Soul influence from the mare and Jose gets the call. (6) Nemo's Fortune tries turf for the first time but with the Scat Daddy influence, I think he'll like it. Almost got there two back, then ran into a sharp River Dog last time and picks up Castellano. With his inside draw, (4) King Angelo and Manny are expected to be aggressive from the gate to find the early lead with the Sheriff. If he can out run him early, he may forget to stop. With the potentail heat up front, the War Dancer gelding (7) Dustgetsinoureyes figures to be the beneficiary. The cut back to the 6F sprint should leave plenty in the tank for this guy to pass them late. His last gate work jumps off the page and Englehart is enjoying a good meet.

Race 5:

I cannot look past the three headed training monsters and will include each. (1) Lady Valentine sold for $385K and is training lights out heading in. This horse will be sent to the lead under Saez and looks to be the real deal. (5) American Parade is the daughter of American Pharaoh and we know what he did. (6) Equal Pay is from the Chad Brown barn and just looks primed for a big run first time out. I just do not see another horse being able to handle these three horses in here.

Race 6:

(1) Publication looks dangerous. A Juddmonte from Brown comes off the layoff to post a sharp win. She too makes the jump up but there's a lot to like. I will take a stab with (5) Madeleine Mist. It's Clement and Rosario so we're not going out on a limb. She makes her 2021 debut with steady works. She likes the 7F distance as well. (4) Change Of Control ships in and brngs her regular rider with her. The distance may be the only question mark.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

We won’t waste too much time on this race as Ward and Johnny V team up with the heavy favorite (4) HAPPY SOUL. This Run Happy ran away from her rivals impressively last time and looks as though she’ll do it again against this group. We’ll single and move on. If your looking for an alternative, the (1) SHE’S SO SHINY ships in and will be big odds for low connections. She can come late to juice up the exacta. (6) AMERICAN BOUND is the only other non maiden runner in the field. Luis will try to make the favorite earn it but Happy Soul looks to fast.

Race 8:

There are some talented young fillies in this Wonder Again Stakes. Rosario has had two tries with (10) PLUM ALI and I think the third time will be the charm. She beat Caldee in the Miss Grillo last year and that one returned last week to score here as well. She was gaining on (5) JOUSTER last time as that one was able to set a slow pace and wire them. Jouster may have company today. The other one exiting that Appalachian is (6) GIFT LIST. She returned later that month to dominate another group of G2 fillies. She just may be settling in to the US now and I’m expecting her to run a similar race today. The one to fear is the Brown runner (9) TECHNICAL ANALYSIS. She has been improving every time out and now tries G2 company. She’s just getting started and we haven’t her best yet. She could be a monster in this division. Acid test for her today.

Race 9:

Brown finally stretches out (2) SPLIT THEN DOUBLE ands adds L1. She responded well to the surface switch and Irad returns. They figure to be a handful today. (1A) MISS BONNIE T has been the bridesmaid three times already. That’s enough for me to bet against at low odds. Both of (5) EVVIE JETS’ Belmont races would be good enough today. Her best one came at this 1M distance. She has some bullet works in her holster for todays 2021 debut. (8) WOW has been beat by three fillies who will participate in the G2 race prior to this one. She has had many chances but may get some relief today.
