We are back to live racing in NY with opening day at Belmont. We have a lot of world class jockeys shipping in and plenty horses entered in to these loaded fields. The day is headlined with the Beaugay (G3) in the 9th race and we will be covering this race as well as five others. I will be focusing in on races 5-7 (Which is tougher than what Big Pete has), and he will be focusing in on races 8-10. We are excited to be back to the NYRA circuit and may mess around and post some videos of us going through our insights in to the races going forward. I need a haircut first so I don't look like too much of a bum. GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:
Race 5:
(1) StrongerThanUKnow is going to be a tough beat here with Irad aboard. The horse has shown great ability in previous races and the workouts leading in show this horse is still ready to perform. I also really like (12) Crescent Lady to enjoy the distance relief and be able to show her speed; may wire this field. (9) Fractorzation has had her best performance to date on grass and I expect improvement this second time out on the surface, so will include. (10) Saratoga Love has the pedigree and connections with Rosario/Clemente; will include as well. My firster that I like is (8) Magnolia's Lady who has been in Belmont during this quarantine and has been putting up great workouts in to this one, and could be ready from the Rice barn to win first time out. I also just saw that (16) Jewel of Arabia is getting entered in this one, so will also be a play for me from the Clemente barn.
$2.00 Ex 1,12 w/ 1,8,9,10,12,16 Cost: $20.00
Race 6:
This one I am not going to overthink and just include two here; (1) Passive Investing and (3) Madita. My motto is always play Chad Brown on grass and always Irad on grass, these two are excellent on this surface. (1) Passive Investing will have plenty left in the tank to pass this field down the stretch. Castellano will have this horse placed right behind the pace and should be able to save a lot of ground on this two turn race and have the horse to beat late. (3) Madita should have a similar trip with Irad aboard and those bullet workouts make this horse a must play for me.
$5.00 WPS 1 Cost: $15.00
$2.00 Ex 1,3 w/ 1,3,5,7,12 Cost: $16.00
Race 7:
I landed on two horses here that I think will take this one, and one bonus horse just for a good time. (9) Lorenzen will be woken up by this class drop in to a claiming field and will be a force in this one. (10) Inside Info is also going to like this drop in class and will be a strong play here. (13) Jack Russel is my bonus play here as this horse should be able to get a nice break from the outside to get to the lead or right behind it and Carmouche is an excellent rail rider, so going to include in case this horse sneaks through to take it.
$5.00 WPS 9 Cost: $15.00
$2.00 Ex Box 9,10,13 Cost: $12.00
Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 8:
A mile distance on the grass is a little different when you’re at Beautiful Belmont Park. The outside runners are not at a disadvantage of getting caught wide like you see at Aqu or the Spa. That said, I landed on (12) CROSS BORDER to get position early and try to control this from the start. He’s not used to going this short, but there’s not a lot of speed in here to put pressure on him. (5) ARTHUR KITT has two solid runs in the US and Clement was doing well at NYRA before the shut down. He’s a nice play at his ML odds. Brown brings back (10) VALUE PROPOSITON after being away for 11Mo. If he’s right, he’ll be a handful, but I’m hoping he needs one. (11) HIDDEN SCROLL makes his turf debut and if he takes to it, he’s talented enough to handle this group.
$7.00 WPS 12 Cost: $21.00
$3.00 Ex 5,12 w/ 5,10,11,12 Cost: $18.00
Race 9:
Two G1 Mares will dominate the tote board. I’ll lean more on (3) GOT STORMY based on her morning activity. She looks sharp and ready for action. The 8.5F is just one ofheer issues. The other will be (1) RUSHING FALLS as she makes her 2020 debut. Tailed off slightly (her standards) by losing 2 in a row before the break. If she’s ready, she wins it. I can’t see both of these coming out with their B game but if they do, I’ll use (4) CALL ME LOVE just in case.
$3.00 Ex 1,3 w/ 1,3,4 Cost: $12.00
Race 10:
(1) IN THE LOOP takes a noticeable drop and attracts Irad. His races are faster than these so if he’s still able to run, he’ll be tough to beat. Rice also drops (7) JUSTICE OF WAR for this and puts go to jock up. I think he’s your most likely winner here. I’ll include two outsiders as this is a MCL 16K group so anything can happen. (4) STORMIN NORMAN and (9) PRETERNATURAL are familiar with this group and they show up every so often.
