We have ourselves a four stakes race day at Belmont and it should be expected to have some nice pools/payouts today. We are going to stick with our pair of pick 3 plays, where I am feeling a single or two in here if you would like to combine and go for the PK6 or late PK5. I will be keying in on races 6-8, and Big Pete will be focusing in on races 9-11. We will have vertical action in each of those races as well. Let us know if you have any angles in here that we may not have touched upon as we would be glad to discuss. GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R6: 1, 5, 6, 8, 10

R7: 1, 3, 4, 5

R8: 1, 7

Cost: $40.00

Big Pete's $1.00 Late Pick 3:

R9: 1, 8

R10: 1, 4, 5, 6, 7

R11: 3, 6, 11, 12

Cost: $40.00

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 6:

The son of American Pharoah, (6) Ima Pharoah, is going to be a tough beat here and should be able to sustain a better run on grass. I think that he will be engaged early with the inside horse, (1) Propensity, who will look to try and wire this field. This makes me want to try and beat them late with a determined horse; which I landed on three firsters. (5) JohnnyPump has the connections with Castellano/Brown on grass and it always seems that Chad Brown has his horse driving late down the stretch. (8) North Carolina has a bullet workout leading in and could shoot out of the gate and compete for this one with Jose Ortiz. (10) Patriot Game is coming out of a red hot McGaughey barn and could be ready to win first time out. This race either is won by the first two mentioned with their speed or they could tire themselves out and make this race wide open; which is why I am adding some insurance.

$3.00 WPS 5 Cost: $9.00

$1.00 Ex 1,5,6 w/ 1,5,6,8,10 Cost: $12.00

Race 7:

I will include the favorite in (5) Come Dancing, but I think that this horse is vulnerable against this field. My top pick to beat this horse is (1) Royal Charlotte with the inside draw and a fast track. I think the move to Irad will be the winning move as he will aggressively place this horse towards the front and save all the ground around the turn to have a great stretch drive. (4) Jakarta is my price play, but I think is a strong play here. This horse is a winner and I know this field is more competitive than ones that he has faced in the past, but I think the race sets up well for him to stalk the lead and have the most left late. (3) Chalon is going to be my last play here who has been training well coming in and the race could set up well for this closer.

$3.00 WPS 1 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 1,3,4 w/ 1,3,4,5 Cost: $18.00

Race 8:

I am not going to try and beat the two favorites in this one and end this ticket with (1) Call Me Love, who I think has the best stretch drive and my best bet for the race, and (7) Mean Mary who will shoot out to the early lead and will be a tough catch to this field. Nothing much more to consider here for me with the scratch of (6) Mrs. Sippy. I do not want to get ahead of myself, but I am feeling good about this ticket.

$10.00 Ex Box 1,7 Cost: $20.00

$4.00 Double 1,7 w/ 8 Cost: $8.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 9:

I’m conceding this G2 True North to (8) FIRENZE FIRE. No chance against the new star Vekoma last time and the slop made it worse. He’s too classy for this bunch and Irad returns. If you’re looking for a single, you found it. (1) DIAMOND KING got some relief when Promised Fulfilled scratched, so he may last a little longer today. I scratched into (2) MIDNIGHTCHARLY and (3) WICKED TRICK to fill in the exacta as Wait For It didn’t make the trip.

$10.00 Ex 8 w/ 1,2,3 Cost: $30.00

Race 10:

Chad Brown is holding a full boat. Queens w/ 2 Aces. (4) NEWSPAPEROFRECORD was dominate in her return and we’ll include but faces better today and she’s not as potent on firm turf. (6) UNI will be hard to pass on as she has that powerful kick in her back pocket and it fits Rosario’s style of riding. The “other” Brown is the one I would be worried about. (5) REGAL GLORY outworked her stable mate last time and may have needed her last when facing elders for the first time. If Uni needs one, She will offer a stiff challenge late.

$7.00 WPS 5 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 5,6 w/ 1,4,5,6 Cost: $18.00

Race 11:

I like that (12) EAGLES PALACE moves back to the turf and stretches out. He was bet hard two back and didn’t run that bad settling for 4th. He now drops slightly and there doesn’t seem to be much speed entered. Jr returns for his graduation. (11) SANDY LANE KITTEN has had some success at this level to get within 2 lengths of winning. Carmouche was aboard on one of those occasions and will try it again. I’ll key on these two to get it done. (3) WINNING FACTOR and (6) SIR CHUBBY get the Ortiz boys so they become win candidates but will clearly get over bet.

$3.00 Ex 11,12 w/ 3,6,11,12 Cost: $18.00
