We have a nice 10 race card at Belmont with some large fields. We are going to take down a pair of pick 3 plays that covers the pick 6 sequence. I will be locked into races 5-7 and Big Pete will close the card with races 8-10. We also will have our "Play of the Day" on a race that we would like to try and maximize our bankroll on. We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

R5: 7, 9, 11
R6: 2, 6, 8, 10
R7: 3, 5, 8, 9

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

Cost: $48.00

Race 4:
There appears to be some inside speed in this one and I think that it opens it up for (8) Mirabelli Mei to have a nice stretch run. I expect Manny to be able to find an early rail position in here and allow the horse to find her footing. Once they hit the turn I expect Manny to time out a late run to find the winning lane.
$5.00 WPS 8 Cost: $15.00
$2.00 Ex 8 w/ 1,2,4,5,6 Cost: $10.00

Race 2:
Most of these runners have had many chances to clear this level, yet here they are. I’m not usually a fan of picking a maiden winner the next time out against winners but I can’t resist the 6:1 ML on (2) ROYAL REALM. This colt seems to get better with distance and this Empire Maker gets more today. His biggest challenge is getting out of gate as he has had an issue in every start. Maybe Jerkens’ has figure it as this guy breezed a sharp 48 in preparation for today.
We’ll use both of the Pletcher runners underneath for our exacta.
$ 7.00 WPS 2 Cost $ 21.00
$ 7.00 Exacta 2 w/ 3, 4 Cost $ 14.00
We’ll also try to collect on a Daily Double play with Royal Realm and use both of Browns runners (6) Cost Benefit and (7) Saratoga Affair in the 3rd
$ 7.00 Double 2 w/ 3, 4 Cost $ 14.00

Race 5:
I like the three horses to the outside in this one. (9) Combination looks great on paper against this field and the deserving favorite. Manny should be able to sit back right behind the pace and wait for the opportunity to run on with this one. (11) Strolling is theother favorite in here that makes logical sense. This horse will be sitting back with the pick up of Rosario and save ground throughout. We should anticipate this horse to be running his best late. My last play will be (7) Hooray for Harvey who I think will run a big race in here. the bullet workout coming in and the form this horse is in is forcing my hand. Lezcano will not be sitting back in this one and we should expect this horse to be in the action throughout.
$3.00 WPS 7 Cost: $9.00
$2.00 Ex Box 7,9,11 Cost: $12.00
Race 6:
(2) Proper Grammer is taking a big class jump in here and facing winners for the first time. This horse had an impressive win first time out and I do not want to leave the Clement/Rosario connection off my ticket. (6) Big Time Lady is a horse that I really like in here as Johnny V will not mess around. This horse will be sent towards the lead and looks good enough to sustain a big run in here. The other Rudy Rodriguez horse, (8) ShesADirtyDancer, is also a horse that will be involved throughout. I like the speed on this horse and Irad aboard a 12/1 morning line horse is an appealing play to me. Last play will be (10) Ava's Grace who has the speed and is in great form in here. David Cohen will get this horse in a nice early position around the turn and then let loose come stretch drive.
$3.00 WPS 6 Cost: $9.00
$2.00 Ex 2,6 w/ 2,6,8,10 Cost: $12.00
$1.00 Ex 8,10 w/ 2,6,8,10 Cost: $6.00
Race 7:
(8) Street Copper is my top pick in here with Jose choosing to ride again in here. This horse is built for speed and Jose getting another mount to try and find the winner's circle is very enticing to me. This horse will not mess around and try and run away with this one and I like the thought of that playing out. (9) Smile Bryan is another horse that has some early speed and Saez will be able to draft behind the pace and let loose come stretch drive. (3) Clear Vision is a price play in here that has a really good chance of running late to catch the front runners. Castellano will time the stretch drive well and compete late for this one. (5) Attentive is the logical play on paper, but I want to beat in here. I just do not want to leave off the last leg of our ticket.
$3.00 WPS 8 Cost: $9.00
$2.00 Ex 3,8 w/ 3,5,8,9 Cost: $12.00
$1.00 Ex 5,9 w/ 3,5,8,9 Cost: $6.00
Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 8:
(8) PURPLE HEARTED reunites with Cancel as they have a win and a second together. His 1M win tops most in here and we’re looking for that run today. (3) JOYCEE HAZ PIZZAZ has been on a roll and this distance shouldn’t be a concern. I’m not a fan of the favorite (5) INDIAN COUNSELOR but Irad shows up here. Trainer has yet to win but Indian has run fast enough to beat this bunch. We’ll use defensively. I’ll put (4) TOP GUN TOMMY on top. He tussled with Known Agenda when that one was good. Now tries a softer group and Breen goes with stable ride Castellano.
$ 7.00 WPS 4 Cost $ 21.00
$ 3.00 Ex 3, 4 w/ 3, 4, 5, 8 Cost $ 18.00
Race 9:
I landed on both War Dancers in this 7F turf sprint. (2) DANCING BUCKtook to the turf as expected to win last time. Three Outlaws, who finished 3rd returned to win the other day. Manny is back aboard and should be up close the whole way. (13) STEP DANCER is the horse to beat. He has been keeping good company and just missed last time against a salty group. The cutback to 7F should fit like a glove. Both (12) IT’S GRAVY (Freud/City Zip) and (8) MARKET ALERT (Silver Deputy) try turf finally as they are bred to like it. They both made every dance against the top NY Breds last year and have run races that make them competitive in here.
$ 7.00 WPS 2 Cost $ 21.00
$ 3.00 Ex 2, 13 w/ 2, 8, 12, 13 Cost $ 18.00
Race 10:
MCL Fillies to end the card and nothing is ever clear at this level. We’ll spin the roulette wheel as we are all in with (4) KNOW IT ALL “RED”. She’s run twice against claimers and they were by far her best outings. She meets a suspect field and reunites with Cancel. (2) OB LA DI will try to control this right from the start. If they leave her alone, she’ll be tough to run down. (5) PALS SARATOGA GAL ran ok in her debut against better, but didn’t come ready last time. The addition of L1 may explain a little of that. Englehart is having a meet as is Lezcano. That’s a lot to like at this price. First time starter (7) TOOTSIE’S SONG has yet to disappoint and it’s Weaver and Rosario.
